Ace Enders was the front man of Jersey’s well known rock outfit The Early November. The band was a part of west coast indie label Drive-thru records and an essential part of the independent scene. As a part of T.E.N. Ace released records “For All of This,” “The Room Is Too Cold,” and controversial triple disc “The Mother, the Mechanic, and the Path” not to mention a successful record for his solo project I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business. After collectively selling nearly 450,000 records over the past few years, the band went their separate ways in the summer of 2007. Summer 2008, Ace Enders recently finished a 3 month tour with Angels and Airwaves and is about to embark on a summer-long tour with Cute is What We Aim For. Earlier this year he completed a new record with producer Mark Weinberg (Matt Nathanson, Elliot Yamin) slated for release in March on Drive-thru and Vagrant Records. In addition he completed his record “The Secret Wars” finally fulfilling a long time goal of his to give away a full length record for free. The record is available right on fuse.tv for download now! Currently being billed as “Ace Enders and a Million Different People.”
The band released their second full-length album titled "When I Hit The Ground" on March 17, 2009 on Vagrant Records.

You'd remind me that your mind's made up
And you've had enough of us, of us
And I'd say
So if I ask you to stay
You'll remind me that your mind's made up
And you had enough of us, of us
Oh I'd say, wait
I hold my breath and wait for your reaction
Stand my ground 'cause I'm not ready to back down
I know but where could I go
Wait for your reaction, wait for your reaction
So if I say it's OK, and I walk out
Would you let me go, would you follow me to the door
Or just sit hoping for more?
I know you wonder if it's worth the wait
Or the time that it takes
Every breath that you lost
Every night spent awake
Every moment gets closer
The door's gonna close on you
So I say wait
I hold my breath and wait for your reaction
Stand my ground 'cause I'm not ready to back down
I know but where could I go
Wait for your reaction, wait for your reaction
I hold my breath and wait for your reaction
Stand my ground 'cause I'm not ready to back down
I know but where could I go
Wait for your reaction, wait for your reaction
I hold my breath and wait for your reaction
Stand my ground 'cause I'm not ready to back down
I know but where could I go
Wait for your reaction, wait for your reaction
The song "Reaction" by Ace Enders and a Million Different People is about a relationship on the brink of ending. The singer is expressing their desire for the other person to stay, but also acknowledges that the other person has made up their mind and is ready to leave. Despite this, the singer is still holding out hope for a positive reaction from the other person.
The chorus repeats the line "I hold my breath and wait for your reaction," conveying a feeling of suspense and uncertainty. The singer is standing their ground and not ready to give up, but also acknowledges that they don't know where to go if the other person leaves. The final lines of the song express the idea that every moment is bringing them closer to the end, but the singer still urges the other person to wait and hold on.
Overall, "Reaction" is a melancholic and bittersweet portrayal of a relationship where one person is trying to save it while the other is ready to move on.

So if I asked you to stay
If I requested you to remain with me
You'd remind me that your mind's made up
You'd tell me that you've already decided
And you've had enough of us, of us
And you're exhausted and don't want to deal with the situation anymore
And I'd say
And I would reply
Oh I'd say, wait
Oh, I would request you to wait
I hold my breath and wait for your reaction
I am anxious and waiting for your response
Stand my ground 'cause I'm not ready to back down
I am holding my position because I don't want to surrender
I know but where could I go
I am aware that there is nowhere else I could go
Wait for your reaction, wait for your reaction
I will wait for your feedback patiently
So if I say it's OK, and I walk out
If I claim it's fine and leave
Would you let me go, would you follow me to the door
Would you permit me to depart, or pursue me to the exit
Or just sit hoping for more?
Or simply wait for something else to happen?
I know you wonder if it's worth the wait
I understand that you question whether it's worth the delay
Or the time that it takes
Or the duration that it consumes
Every breath that you lost
Each time you held your breath in anxiety
Every night spent awake
Each night that you stayed awake thinking about it
Every moment gets closer
Every second brings us closer to a resolution
The door's gonna close on you
The opportunity will expire
So I say wait
So I suggest waiting
