(by Queen)

Buddy you're a boy make a big noise
Playin' in the street gonna be a big man some day
You got mud on your face
You big disgrace
Kickin' your can all over the place
Singin'
We will we will rock you
Sing it!
We will we will rock you

Buddy you're a young man hard man
Shoutin' in the street gonna take on the world some day
You got blood on your face
You big disgrace
Wavin' your banner all over the place

Singin
We will we will rock you - Yeah!

Buddy you're an old man poor man
Pleadin' with your eyes gonna make you some peace some day
You got mud on your face
You big disgrace
Somebody better put you back in your place

Singin'
We will we will rock you - yeah
We will we will rock you

Oh I'm gonna Rock you!
Rock You

Overall Meaning

The song "We Will Rock You" is an anthem to unite people and inspire them to take action. The first verse talks about a boy who is playing in the streets, and how he is going to be a big man someday. Despite the mud on his face and the can he is kicking around, he is destined for greatness. This verse sets the tone for the rest of the song by showing that no matter what your starting point is, you can still achieve great things.

The second verse is about a young man who is shouting in the streets and is going to take on the world someday. He has blood on his face, which could be interpreted in many ways, but one possibility is that he has been in a fight and is standing tall after being knocked down. This verse inspires people to keep fighting for what they believe in and to keep pushing forward towards their goals.

The final verse is about an old man who is poor and pleading with his eyes. He might have lost his way in life or feel like he has not accomplished his goals. Nevertheless, this verse inspires people to not give up hope and to keep pushing towards peace and happiness in their lives. The repetition of the chorus throughout the song provides a sense of unity and togetherness. It is a reminder that we are all in this together and that we can achieve great things if we work together.

The mentors each week is what made idol great. QUEEN. like damn. They threw the mentors out the window around season 11 or 12

ikr. at that point the show was getting boring anyway. didn't expect it to get better. and it did not. I hope the reboot is good. but of course I don't know if the show can relive its glory days, but at least be better than seasons 10-15.

Domeju they need to stop hiring singer celebrities to judge! Having big music business mogul personalities is what made the show great. None of the judges were promoting their own music. They were completely honest each and every time. It encouraged viewers to put more stock in the winner. Unlike the recent seasons where "everyone was great each week any can win it!"

I agree. as for the reboot, I'm ok with Chris Daughtry because he used to be a contestant on the show, so he knows what its like to be in that position. and since he was in during the good old days and judged by Simon, that would know a thing or two about what to bring to the show. Katy Perry I don't really get because she's just a generic pop star. Adam Lambert I would love as a judge, and he said he wanted to but he couldn't because of his busy schedule. I really want Simon to come back, but he doesn't want to unfortunately :( this reboot needs to make the right choices and put useful judges on the show, or else it'll be the same as seasons 10-15.

Mike Ci I agree. They’re trying to be like The Voice now.

Mike Mo totally! Actually I think they threw the mentors out in season 10. They started using some bigwig music producer guy as the in-house mentor. He was boring, Repetitive, and didn’t pay attention to the idols as individuals. It felt like he was telling them all to do the same thing. That didn’t help them at all. He was completely useless. In seasons one through nine, they actually got mentors that match their themes. We would have different personalities, look at the contestants on an individual basis, and have more helpful advice to offer them. This was one of the many things that turned me off of idol even though I was once a big fan. I can’t even watch the reboot now because all of the things that I didn’t like in the later seasons when it went downhill, are still there.

I’m in the minority that thought this was a genius song choice and arrangement.

He looks so much like a young John Travolta.

Some songs are sung, some songs are played.
