1. Achiote is a colombian music project that started in 2007 and works on a fusion of new wave, rock, salsa and son with a drum pattern called roxon (© 1995). its only band member, andrias (andres arias), is responsible for song-writing, arrangements, vocals, guitars, bass, trumpet, percussion, programming, recording and production.

2. ACHIOTE is a finnish metal band combining melodic heavy and grunge spiced with influences from the 70's.

Debut album 'Deimos' contains tender and soulful metal dealing with subconscious imagery and demons inside. 'Deimos' is available on iTunes and Spotify as well as CD Digipack on 22nd of August 2014 by V.R. Label Finland. Distribution by Playground Music Scandinavia.
