Electric Machine
Acid King Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Thought you'd never see it
Rolled into what begins the end
Thought you'd never believe it
What happened to the perfect plan
In the
song Electric Machine by Acid King, the lyrics describe a journey towards an end that was previously thought impossible to reach. The first line "Head into another end" suggests that the singer is already familiar with endings and is now approaching yet another one. However, the next line "Thought you'd never see it" implies that this end is different from the rest and was unexpected. The line "Rolled into what begins the end" suggests that the singer is moving towards the beginning of the end, and the line after that "Thought you'd never believe it" emphasizes that the end is shocking and hard to accept.
The chorus of the song is a question: "What happened to the perfect plan?" This line suggests that there was a plan that was once perfect but has now failed, leading to the current situation. This line could represent any situation where things were going according to plan, but something unexpected happened, leading to a sense of confusion and uncertainty. The lyrics of the song are open to interpretation, but the underlying themes of the song seem to revolve around the idea of endings and new beginnings, and dealing with the unexpected.
