1) A female-fronted melodic death metal band from La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, originally formed in 2016 under the name UnFear.
2) Acroma (formerly known as No Release) is an alternative rock band formed in Salt Lake City, Utah. The band consists of Jeremy Stanley (vocalist), Brian Christensen (guitarist), Tom Collins (bassist), and Joshua Zirbel (drummer). No Release began developing a small following in Salt Lake City after releasing a three-song demo. In 2002, one of the band's tracks was heard by label Universal Records on a compilation album. Soon after, Univeral signed the fledgling band to a record deal. The newly named Acroma enlisted Tool producer Sylvia Massy to produce their first album. The album was influenced strongly by Massy's Tool, as well as Maynard James Keenan's side project, A Perfect Circle. They released the album Orbitals in May 2003. The album was recorded at RadioStar Studios, in Weed, California. "Sun Rises Down" and "Don't Think, Just Move" received moderate radio play on college radio stations around the country, but the band was never able to crossover to mainstream radio. The band has been on hiatus since the release of Orbitals and it remains unknown when Acroma will release another album.

Perfect
Acroma Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
What motivates our any motion?
And everybody's reasons for locking up inside
The storyline is nothing still you listen
And you don't want to be perfect
You just want to be the same
But all these lights tonight just complicate it
And hold you down now
So tell me
What are you waiting for?
Only you can make that change in you now
And life it's hard enough
Without carrying all of that old pain around
And those who want to hold you
You'll push them all away
And you'll wonder how they want you when you're obviously broken
And for those who leave you empty
You'll hold a special place
And you'll want that perfect blackout
You'll want that lonely cage
And you don't want to be perfect
You just want to be the same
But all these lies tonight just complicate it
And hold you down now
So tell me
What are you waiting for?
Only you can make that change in you now
And life it's hard enough
Without carrying all of that old pain around
Now why don't you just let go?
Why don't you try to fly?
The moments wide open why don't you try to fly?
And you're always complicated you're always on my mind so now tell me
And you're always complicated you're always on my mind so now tell me
Why don't you try to fly?
Why don't you try to fly?
In Acroma's song "Perfect", the lyrics focus on the theme of self-reflection and how we always feel the need to be perfect despite knowing that such standards are unattainable. The song begins by discussing how people are always watching us, and how difficult it is to know what motivates us. The line "The storyline is nothing still you listen" suggests that people are always trying to listen to our stories, but in reality, we are simply trying to navigate our own lives. The phrase "And you don't want to be perfect/ You just want to be the same" highlights the importance of being true to ourselves and not getting caught up in the anxieties of trying to conform to impossible standards.
The chorus is a call to action, urging listeners to let go of their old pains and make a change. It acknowledges that life is hard enough without carrying the weight of past pain and regrets, and encourages listeners to take control of their lives to try and fly. The song then proceeds to discuss the difficulties of letting people in and how we often push them away, all the while feeling broken and empty. The line "And for those who leave you empty/ You'll hold a special place/ And you'll want that perfect blackout/ You'll want that lonely cage" suggests that we often create an atmosphere of isolation, even when we know that it is not healthy for us.
In summary, this song is about acceptance, self-discovery, and change. The lyrics suggest that we are all imperfect and how we need to be true to ourselves, let go of the past, and strive for growth.
