He released his major label debut album, Mr. Wonderful, on March 23, 2015.
Influences
Action Bronson cites as major influences fellow American rappers Kool G Rap, Nas, Cam'ron, Mobb Deep, UGK and the Wu-Tang Clan. Other artists include Michael Jackson, Carlos Santana, Queen as well as Albanian wedding singers.
Rapping style
Bronson frequently raps about food in his songs. He is also well known for his frequent, and often obscure, allusions to athletes and sports teams. Bronson's lyrics often make reference to sports in New York City but also touch on more obscure subjects such as professional wrestlers, bodybuilders, figure skating and sports betting.
Early in his career, Bronson gained recognition for lyrically and stylistically resembling fellow New York rapper Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan (with whom he collaborated, along with friend and fellow rapper Termanology, on a song called "Meteor Hammer", from the 2011 compilation album Legendary Weapons). Ghostface Killah himself has admitted to confusing Bronson's rapping for his own. In a 2011 interview with HipHopDX, Bronson was asked about how it was to be compared to the Wu-Tang rapper, and he responded with,
Yeah, I mean at the end of the day, it's all good because Ghostface Killah is one of the best rappers alive, so if I sound similar to the best rapper alive then that is fine. To me there is no comparison; he is a legend and I am a newcomer. If I would try and emulate with anyone it would be Kool G Rap, he is the person I look up to the most. I am not upset but at the end of the day I am my own person and no one can take that away from me.
Personal life
Bronson has two children with a former girlfriend. Bronson's current girlfriend gave birth to a son in November 2019.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, Bronson documented his weight loss journey using a combination of diet change and high-intensity interval training. To date he has lost 127 pounds (58 kg).

Hopping out the 87 Benz
No pendent
Plus I’ve always been defendant
Never Plaintiff
Shorty crying at arraignment
This Jamie Lee Blue Steel what I'm aimin'
Queens to the death
Walk in the kitchen? Meet and greets with the chef
I’m like a baby cause I sleep on the breast
But still fuck around throw the heat to your chest
Million dollar raps, million dollar beats
Five dollar dimes
Young Harvard minds
Yale in the spring
Bali in the summer
See me through the window like Batali in the Hummer
Sharp at the feet
Morimoto knife set
Young Cordell coming through the portal
Terry Gene Boli motherfuckers are immortal
You in the corner looking floral
The New Yorker
Heavy body smooth talker
Stand in the foyer
Portraits of my yiddish lawyer
British walker
Presence like I’m Connery
You wanna die well swing
Knees like Olden Polynice
My shorty Polynesian don’t make no apologies
I’m when I’m rich I’ll probably join the Scientology
Three hookers
Street gynecology
Edward Scissors my existence is anomoly
Smoke the chronic, chronically
Bronson Chronicles
You ain’t really fucking with me honestly
Sonically we fuckin' boom shit
Just be smooth kid or catch a fucking raping with the broom stick
"Double Breasted" is a rap song by American rapper Action Bronson. The lyrics are an expression of his confidence and success in the music industry. In the first stanza, Bronson boasts about his legal record, stating that he has never been a plaintiff in a lawsuit but a defendant. He also references his car, a 1987 Benz, and implies that he doesn't need flashy jewelry to impress people. He then talks about his skills as a rapper, comparing himself to Jamie Lee Curtis in her role in the movie "Blue Steel" and stating that he aims to be as lethal with his rhymes as she was with her gun.
The next stanza continues to highlight Bronson's luxurious and successful lifestyle, mentioning his hometown in Queens, New York, his encounters with famous chefs, and his expensive taste in knives. He also references Harvard and Yale, implying that he is just as intelligent as graduates from those esteemed institutions despite not attending them. Bronson ends the stanza by saying that he is immortal, and that his enemies are nothing but flowers in the corner.
In the final stanza, Bronson talks about his physical prowess, referencing his strong knees and his Polynesian girlfriend. He expresses his willingness to join Scientology if he ever gets rich enough and boasts about his ability to attract women. The song ends with Bronson warning his listeners to stay smooth, or else they could meet his wrath.
