@Mark West I don't think hiding under a rock is necessary. I would guess following guidelines is adequate to allow the world to continue to function AND to keep people safe.
I social distance a wear a mask because I think it little more then an inconvenience.
But I see people all of the time not wear mask, not cover their nose or mouth properly, then walk right up to you well within social distancing tolerances.
If you ignore those guidelines, or encourage people to break those guidelines as an authority on the topic, you assume special responsibility.
When we get through all of this, I think the people who refused to be "team players" in society should be remembered and discriminated against.
For instance, I know of a guy who said it was all a hoax for political reasons. He went to costco while he was sick knowingly exposing people to the sickness. It later progressed to the swelling stage, and ended up making him partially paralyzed because his spinal cord swelled.
He regrets, now, his nonchalant attitude and his whole "it's a hoax" position.
Social distance, wear a mask and then we shouldnt need to lock down. Especially for 10 months.
But others uniquely at this point in time, help determine the spread, exposure, and lockdowns for other people which effects others health.
Mask wearers are not cowards. It's that foolish mentality that sets the stage for lockdowns. Lockdowns ( in California) are determined by icu capacities.
I hold the nonchalant responsible for that. If the Chinese can control it through this measures, then we should be able to too. For god sakes, you had a Dr. here claiming that masks were "foolish" when the medical community has know masks "help" transmission since the 1600's.
God's speed to you and yours during and after this whole thing.

How sick he gets isn't really for him to determine. There are those that die within a day or two, and those that barely get a cold or are asymptomatic.
He is on the record pretending it ain't much.
I would gaurentee that he thinks otherwise. The fact that you can't admit how wrong he was, and how wrong you are, just shows how incapable you are to grasp reason.
How many people did his son get sick with such a highly contagious factor?
How many did drew get sick?
He may be fine, although he admitted he is on the verge of being a "long hauler" Covid-19 guy.
He may have health consequences for the rest of his life.
But feel free to make light of all of that through your inability to admit fault.

The tragedy here is there are people like him, informing people like you full of ego and bullshit in your brain of what has planned out to be a deviating thing to the world.
I don't agree with lockdowns, but I do know vaccines work. Without them, and those from the past, it's unlikely you would be alive still to spew such nonsence.

Both of my parents are in their 70s and my mom is diabetic, they both had Covid and recovered relatively quickly. Mom was in bed for 5 days and dad was in bed for 2 days. My mom said her worst/strangest symptom was that her skin felt like she had a sunburn for several days.

I'm a 45 female, hubby came home with the Beer Bug, gave it to me, 4 year old granddaughter, and our youngest daughter that is 22. The hubby was actually sick, exhausted for a week straight, fever, 0 energy, moody, and no focus on anything. My only symptom was my coffee tasted weird, that was all. Granddaughter, and daughter had 0 symptoms. The only difference between us all, besides age, I take 4,000IU of Vitamin D every day, along with Zinc. There are doctors that have videos on the science of the effects on the Bug. My doc said it was what saved me from symptoms. D3 is what you need, take it, and stay safe.

@Heidi I was taking 20 mg twice a day when I was sick. I was given that much and I was in a skilled nursing facility at the time. I recommend hydrochloroquine (hcq), if you can get it. It might be a challenge to get it even though it was deemed safe 60 years ago and is gentle enough for seniors and babies to take it.

@Mark West Viruses are viruses. They all have to remember their course they follow. COVID is no different. And masks don't work because the virus is smaller than the mesh you breathe through. Viruses are about 1/3 the size of the distance between the fibers. Otherwise why wouldn't we just wear masks every flu and cold season and avoid getting sick. Because it doesn't work. The masks are all part of a political narrative and so is the availability of treatment for COVID. It will be better shortly. Stuff is going to happen soon.

I had a confirmed case of COVID and was mostly asymptomatic but I had nausea, horrible nausea. The problem with COVID is that it's so similar to the flu, you can't be sure which you have without a test. It's actually a form of the common cold but has an attitude. But let's not forget that there is a 97% survival rate and you're really only in danger if you have other health problems. I am 56 and came through just fine. All I had was vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, and probiotics. I didn't like the nausea, but that only lasted about 10 days.
