Having read the books and played every witcher game and just having come back from finishing blood and wine (for the 4th time) I came back to this...Remembering Geralt's joyrney gives me goosebumbs....

I don't think I've ever found a song so beautiful as it is in videogame history. After playing the witcher trilogy I can confidently say that it is the best melody of the 3 games, so calm and at the same time so epic.
I am grateful for living in the same era that something so unrealistic and imaginary can make my mind blow up.

They dont make RPGs like this too often! Infact this is the most RPG feeling game I have played in a long time! Reminds me of the old days of RPGs on PC! This game is just outstanding and so is the Witcher 1! Looking forward to Witcher 3 and I am just gonna book the week of its release off from work! :D

Yep the game is so epic (especially the enhanced edition) that I think I'm going to play it on every difficulty starting from easy in a row and I still wouldn't get bored. Truly an epic experience.

Damn i feel embarrassed because there are not enough words to describe the greatness of this game. I could say that this is the best game i have ever played. And the new arena mode is so much fun. It really feels like an arena. Amazing CD Project RED!

@aditya banerjee I had never played the Witcher series at the time of release, for no particular reason. But the third seemed incredible to me, so like 2/3 months ago i tried to play the first two to have more context. I've finished loving them. They really have an incredible atmosphere. Now i'm halfway the third ^^

I have around 20 years of gaming experience (RPS mostly) and this is the best game soundtrack I`ve ever heard. If you really consider some other OST better, please let me know. I`m not trolling, I am really interested since that one is truly amazing:)

well... To my taste The Witcher 1 soundtrack is slightly "better" :) TW2 one is epic, TW1 is more lyrical and ambient. The composer Adam Skorupa wrote both of them (I don't know about how much Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz has contributed to the 2nd part...) I really like TW2 melodies and I play them on the piano (learning to play). Joonas Hahne has created a great interpretation of "A nearly peaceful place", which is a bit similar to this melody.

I just did and listened the song. It`s very good, I guess just a matter of personal preference what you like more:) I like The Witcher`s OST best cause of the classic/folklore/rock mix. It just hits the right spots for me. Try Medievil OST Return to the Grave song. If you like it, search for the other songs. It is fantastic, but that is my opinion only:)

hard mode? u should play dark mode because only then u can get epic weapons,armor and so on. i started from beginning on dark....and died 20 times in a row XD
