I lost my big sister to domestic violence some years back now. She was such a beautiful person and a wonderful mother. She was my music bestie, and I know how much Adele's music meant to her. Every time I listen to her music it's like Makaila is right there with me and I get all choked up. It's the most bittersweet feeling I've yet encountered in my 36 years.

I found this song when I had a crush on my college friend who didn't like me back, we used to walk together to the train station on large pink pavements, the line that says " should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements even if it leads nowhere" would hit so hard everytime I thought about whether I should tell him about my feelings or just give up and forget about it. he later told me that he had a girlfriend without me asking, I thought he did that to make me " know my place". This choreography is actually stunning. Emotion provoking to say the least. Adele's voice touches me every time she sings. This song can be heartbreaking. You add that choreography and it says more than the song alone, ever could.

So, together...this is insurmountably beautiful. And very underrated.

I want to thank Adele for this song. This song somehow found its way into my life at the most perfect time. I was going after a woman who really wasn't the one. She had her own life that she was trying to live, a life that did not coincide with mine. I do not believe she cared for who I was, nor saw who exactly I was. Little did I know, after I stopped pursuing this woman, some other amazing person stepped into my life and has truly blessed me. She loves me unconditionally and I connect so much with her.

I gave up instead of chasing pavements, and found myself on the horizon. To everyone, always remember to leave those toxic pursuits. There will always be something better beyond. You may not see it at the time, but you must trust that everything will be ok.

This is my favourite Adele song. Not her very popular ones like Hello, Easy on me, etc but this one. There is something so captivating to me about this simple song. This is my first time watching the music video. I always only heard this on Spotify. Even the music video was so wonderful. The choreography was really graceful. I always hesitated to look up the meaning of the song. If I knew the meaning, maybe I won't like it like I used to before. For now I just feel the music and it means what I want it to mean. But I have decided that I will not do that anymore. I am going to understand this from her perspective. No more putting it off.

Ive heard of Adele have seen her a few times on tv but I’ve never have actually heard her sing before I’m amateur singer I’m learning as I go I’ve made mistakes and are learning from them when it comes to the music how it sounds when too start singing when to carry the note longer I’ve been taking singing lessons for awhile now I love listening singing and I know if I keep practicing keep reaching for my goals I’ll soon be able to accomplish what I love doing my vocal teacher has been working with me I used to sing a lot to myself to where nobody could ever hear me at that time I was nervous and very uncomfortable with my own voice I didn’t like the way it sounded my mom was my inspiration she knew I could do it I just had to bring my voice out more she used to teach me how to never be scared or afraid to let myself be heard or never let the tone of my voice make me feel uncomfortable she always tried to break me out of my comfort zone when it came to my voice she has since past on I stopped singing for awhile because my inspiration was gone it took me a long time to get my inspiration back that’s when I found my vocal coach she could see and hear what was always holding me back she is working with me teaching me the ropes inspiring me and taking me further then I ever thought possible she’s getting me to like my voice get me more comfortable with it never to be afraid of it I’m still amateur I’m still learning I still make some mistakes but I’m learning from them she asked me to listen closely to Adele’s songs listen to how Adele sings how she pours her heart into her music I’ve heard of her I have seen her a couple times on tv this is my first time hearing her sing she has a wonderful beautiful powerful voice I’m glad that my vocal coach has asked me to listen to Adele I have my favorite artists that I listen to sing along with now I’m adding Adele to my list of my favorite artists that I like listening to and singing along with

A classic song from Adele. When I heard this song on tv years ago I knew she was going to be special. The next video "hometown glory" is my favorite song from her. Adele put her heart and soul in that song. I felt that.

I love this song because of how relatable it is. A girl doesn’t want to tell the person she likes how she feels because she doesn’t want to ruin the friendship they have. That was my 14 yr old self when I had a huge crush on a guy friend of mine. Eventually I knew for sure he wouldn't like me along with having a gf at the time (even though he did send a little bit of mixed signals to me). Long story short word got out to him about me. He didn't really care. After feeling hurt at least it gave me some sense to move on and not waste my time.
