In 2003, news of her third album hit with various album title changes throughout the year from Ride Again: 7/2 to Two Can Play That Game. During this year, Howard also starred in an an independent film called Casanova's Demise co-starring Greg Horos.
In 2004, Howard officially released her third album, The Second Coming, under Rufftown Records. With the distribution label and the record label in conflict, the album suffered without much publicity — it was mostly limited to the music video for "Nasty Grind" playing on BET during early morning hours. Despite the lack of publicity, it sold over 40,000 copies.
In 2005, Howard intended to release The Second Coming: Remixed but that project was shelved to make way for a new full-length album, Private Show. Along with a new album, Howard worked with Walid Azami to bring documentaries for her fansite. This was an attempt to explain her side of the story and show her fans how the album was made.
The promo single, "Phone Sex", was released in September 2006. After some delays, Howard's third album was released on June 27, 2007 with the lead single, "L.O.V.A." It managed to peak #17 on iTunes R&B music sales chart. However, the album missed the Billboard 200 and R&B Albums chart altogether; overall, it sold only a few thousand copies. Shortly thereafter, Howard and Arsenal Records parted ways. On September 25, 2009, an independent compilation, "Independent Soul Divas 2" was issued on Lola Waxx Records. This compilation features "What Do I Do", a song recorded by Howard in 2008. The version included on the compilation is different from the version originally featured on her official MySpace profile.
According to Howard's official website, in addition to getting married, she went back to school to study culinary arts, and she is in the early stages of creating a possible fourth studio album.

I got a little freakiness inside
And you know that the man
Has got to deal with it
I don't care what they say
I'm not about to pay nobody's way
'Cause it's all about the dog in me
Mm-hmm
I want to freak in the morning
A freak in the evening just like me
I need a roughneck nigga
That can satisfy me just for me
If you are that kind of man
'Cause I'm that kind of girl
I got a freaky secret,everybody sing
'Cause we don't give a damn about a thing
'Cause I will be a freak
Until the day until the dawn
And we can pump, pump
All through the night till the early morn
Come on and I will take you
Around the 'hood on a gangsta lean
'Cause we can pump, pump
Any time of day it's all good for me
Boy, you're moving kind of slow
You got to keep it up
Now there you go
There's just one thing that a man must do
Mm-hmm
I'm packing all the flavor you need
I got you shook up on your knees
'Cause it's all about the dog in me
I want to freak in the morning
A freak in the evening just like me
I need a roughneck nigga
That can satisfy me just for me
If you are that kind of man
'Cause I'm that kind of girl
I got a freaky secret,everybody sing
'Cause we don't give a damn about a thing
'Cause I will be a freak
Until the day until the dawn
And we can pump, pump
All through the night till the early morn
Come on and I will take you
Around the 'hood on a gangsta lean
'Cause we can pump, pump
Any time of day it's all good for me
'Cause I will be a freak
Until the day until the dawn
And we can pump, pump
All through the night till the early morn
Come on and I will take you
Around the 'hood on a gangsta lean
'Cause we can pump, pump
Any time of day it's all good for me
One to the two, to the two, to the three
Adina, do you want to get freaky with me?
"Like Me," a song by Adina Howard, is a classic throwback to the '90s R&B era of fun, catchy songs with risqué lyrics. In the first verse, Howard is upfront about her sexual desires, stating that she has a little freakiness inside and that any man interested in her has to deal with it. She won't be paying anyone's way because it's all about the dog in her, a reference to her willingness to explore and embrace her sexual side.
The chorus of the song makes it clear what Howard is looking for in a partner, with a preference for a roughneck man who can satisfy her freaky needs. The song is empowering for women who are often silenced when it comes to their sexual desires. It shows women that it's okay to embrace this side of themselves and to expect their partner to do the same.

Great Song. Hugs from Brazil. I was born 78, so 90's were just an awesome time with my tape record in that time. Many many news songs coming from US, and the parties at night was brilliant. Miss those days. Very respect for those made a revolution in 90's.

UPROXX Video, the best hip hop band in Brazil is called Racionais Mc's , they have insane songs back to 90's, try the one called mil trutas mil tretas in youtube, the band performance alive is on dvd, if someone know this band or try to listen to the Song, very appreciated. Mano Brown is the main singer, he has a Song called Felizes, the base is insane and his voice is just perfect for the lyric. Mano Brown is the most famous Brazilian rapper. For those who wants to listen something new, I recommend. Good news is today is that Wu Tang will be here in April, my ticket is already bought, never seen entire clã together, only Ghostface Killah and Raekwoon. I really hope they sing CREAM, this song is awesome. Enjoy the long weekend in US. Hugs.
