Chiquita
Aerosmith Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Ooh, on the beach at cartegena
She, salty baby with the name-a
Oh, chiquita
Oh, love chiquita

She, takes to walkin' in the sunshine
She, she'll be lovin' till the moon shine
Love chiquita
Oh, love chiquita

She, got the poppy-eyed desire
Tease, till the boys put out the fire
Love chiquita
Oh, love chiquita

Oh no no, now don't you wake me up I'm dreaming
No no no, if you shake me I'll be screaming

Love chiquita
Oh love chiquita

Would be cool if they play it live on concerts! Absolutely love this song!

What a beat!!!

@hallieadams4225

Yeah..with Joe Perry

@TheStones1965

One of the best intros ever. That pre verse drum fill is magic and the pounding bass then Tyler kicks it into overdrive. Damn.

@BrianCarnevaleB26

shades of Jimmy page in the opener if I do say!

@richardmorris7063

Absolutely 🥺

@axl8653

Without Perry it's a joke.

@huascar66

I bought this album when it first came out, my first Aerosmith album, actually. Chiquita is probably my favorite Aerosmith song and this video just kicks ass all over the place.

@Jamestele1

Being such a Joe Perry fan, and having seen them so many times, I must admit that Jimmy Crespo is a bad ass guitarist, and actually looks like he was supposed to be in Aerosmith! I really like his work with the band

@pcmikeoftheup

I agree, just a few grey streaks away.
