Aesthetic Perfection was formerly signed directly to Metropolis Records in the United States and Out of Line Records in Europe, until Graves decided to run it on his independent label Close to Human Records. Additionally, the band was licensed to Gravitator Records in Russia and Death Watch Asia in Japan.
The band's third album, All Beauty Destroyed, was released on November 4, 2011, in Europe and November 8, 2011, in the United States.
On March 29, 2019, Aesthetic Perfection released its sixth album, Into the Black. Unlike previous albums which were released by labels, Into the Black was self-released. According to Graves, this was an intentional move towards running the band free of label intervention, due to a belief that the label industry model was "dying".

Been everyone's fool,
You beg to be noticed,
Your licking your wounds,
You wait and you wonder how,
"Was it any use?"
Try taking that armor down,
And just this ones,
So I fall in love
Let my heart take over,
Enjoy the show
'Cause you'll see
'Cause you'll see who I really am
You wake and you wonder
Through days of despair,
Yet you remain hopeful,
That there's somebody there,
You bear all the burden for,
For those who don't care,
But it's not really worth it no,
The curtain's raised
Start the play,
Tears in your eyes
So I fall in love
Let my heart take over,
Enjoy the show
'Cause you'll see
'Cause you'll see who I really am
So I took out my passion
With a blow to the head,
And it was through my own action,
That our romance was dead
So I fall in love
Let my heart take over,
Enjoy the show
'Cause you'll see
'Cause you'll see who I really am
I'm portraying and imitating
Everything I'm not,
As I'm performing you're adoring
But my facade will rot

The song Showtime by Aesthetic Perfection speaks of the struggles of an individual who has been taken advantage of, who has been a fool for others, who has begged for attention and acknowledgment, and has been left wondering if it was all worth it. The opening lines suggest that the singer has gone through a lot, paid their dues and has suffered through it all. Despite the trials, this person continues to seek attention and relevance to those around them. They hold onto hope that someday someone will see them, appreciate them, and give them the recognition they crave.
The second stanza highlights the singer's sense of purposelessness and despair. This person has carried the weight of others who don't care, and yet remains hopeful in the possibility of finding someone who will care for them. The lyrics depict a character that is burdened and lonely, yearning for a meaningful and fulfilling life. However, the singer realizes that it is pointless to keep waiting for someone else to validate them. They need to take control of the direction of their life and decide to drop their armor and fight for themselves.
The chorus of the song is an affirmation that the singer is ready for a change. They are going to let their heart take over and fall in love. They believe that everyone watching the show will finally see who they really are. The song suggests that it's time to let go of the false face and let the real self shine through to be loved by the audience.
