@Arthur Hawkins it's a good part, but overall the Bo1 campaign story, acting, mission layout, everything in the Bo1 campaign is flawless, there isn't a single mission that is boring or repetitive, Bo2 has 9 missions completely dedicated to being boring and repetitive, in Bo1 you feel like you're going insane with Mason, Bo2 just seems like you miss your dad

@CodenameHaswelly First of all, thats a subjective opinion. What u can and can't do in a game depends on what u can and can't find to do. I loved running around akimbo models only. I loved tac knives. I loved riot shield. I loved rpg's only with scavenger (dont hate me it was fun). The guns felt way different then each other, like the tar and m4a1 feel unique from each other, which creates its own variety. That said, bo2 also had variety with the ballistic knives, the crossbows, but I always found more things to do in mw2.

2nd u didnt address a single one of the other things i said, so I guess I'm right on those things. How fun a game is depends on multiple other factors, and not just "variety".

@Arthur Hawkins idk man. Mw2 challenge system was fucking addicting to say the least. The gunplay was fun, all the guns were op, the maps had more than 3 lanes, so much fun broken shit like models akimbo, tac knife commando. The gameplay variety was limitless in mw2.

It's very nostalgic. The campaign? It was arguably one of the best, up with with MW2, WaW and Black ops 1. The multiplayer? So damn fun with so many iconic weapons, skins and maps to pick from. The zombies? Maybe not all were the best maps, but each and everyone of these maps are iconic and memorable. Sure, every game has its flaws, but Black Ops 2 is one of those games where the flaws were so inconsequential to what was an amazing game.

To this day if this game had not been the one I started with in terms of mature rated COD's idk where I would be in my life, it legit changed me forever... I could not stop playing this game as a kid growing up.

Honestly if we look back on it, I to this day don't know why the devs don't just use this games formulas and systems and then build off of it by doing new things with the time period and weapons and so on so forth.

That's why it's seen as the best COD of all time. Telling you man if I controlled COD right now that's exactly what I would do. Just take this game and use it as a template.

Life is so heavy now, it’s terrifying to go out into the world. people have changed so much, everyone that plays games just uses it like a drug now instead of having real fun with the boys. black ops 2 was most played out of any cod game imo, and the only reason it is more remembered than games like MW2 and black ops 1 is because of the zombies and multiplayer both being peak and more rememberal

@cheese burger if your including Town as a good map, then you must also include Farm and Bus Depot which were also not loved. Buried is not universally praised. Since it's release, it has received more mixed reviews than anything amongst the community as a whole and only for about the last 4 years have bigger zombie YouTubers praised it more. So it's more like 4 bad maps + 1 mid map vs 3 good maps
