Fair Game
Aggressive Disorder Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Raising hell...the black heart I am
The hate is inside me the hatred of man
Violent cause for problems unsolved
I hunt the offender for breaking the laws

No one knows, when death will come!
Stalking the darkness, your body grows numb
A badge not needed to kill, justice with all of the pain
Taking you out for the price on your head
An angel to some, but death is my name....

No one knows, when death will come!
Stalking the darkness, your body grows numb

Solo

You've become, the hunted your out on the run
Run for your life cause the game has begun
Dead or alive, whatever you choose, peacefully come
Or you'll hang by the noose....

No one knows, when death will come
Stalking the darkness, your body grows numb

RUN!!!

Overall Meaning

In Aggressive Disorder's song "Fair Game," the singer portrays himself as "the black heart" with "hatred of man" inside him. He takes on a violent cause to solve problems arising from lawbreakers. The singer seeks to extract justice with pain, taking out wrongdoers for a price. He sees himself as fulfilling a role assigned to him by destiny, the grim reaper who can come anytime, anywhere, without warning.

The singer emphasizes that no one knows when death may come, taking on the persona of someone prowling in the darkness to find the target. He warns that those affected by his actions will grow numb as if stalked by death. As the song progresses, the singer accuses the listener of becoming the hunted and being pursued, urging them to run for their life.

Overall, "Fair Game" is a dark and ominous song that portrays a vigilante seeking justice through violent means. It speaks to the idea that revenge can be a motivator for some people who may justify their actions to themselves as necessary for the greater good.

From experience: before reaching out to your pediatrician or school, consider trying a martial art. We began training our son in Brazilian Jiujitsu at the age of 4 as a tactic to channel his destructive and violent behavior. He still sometimes likes to break things, but his violence towards other people went way down. Instead of starting a fight, he will now ask to wrestle, and there are rules to it like to hitting, biting, scratching -- he doesn't always follow them, but he seems to try. Either way, major improvement. From what I understand, trained fighters in their everyday lives are way less likely to start fights because their primary focus is not getting hurt. They know how and when to focus their violent capacities.

I feel like that situation very well could turn into the child just having the skills and confidence to be violent towards others kids in a more effective way

This is what my parents did with me when I was a kid. It 100% works! I was a violent kid and now my dad says he feels like he’s have to electrocute me to get a violent reaction from me lol. Now my 2.5 year old is starting to remind me of me but it’s too early to bring him to formal martial arts but he keeps hurting his little brother so I’m frustrated

@GeneralFlanders

There was a kid in my class named Iancu that was very rude and had violent tendencies, no one in the class liked him and always teased him and bullied him, he was perfectly fine in the 3rd grade as the other kids say but i changed to that class during 4th grade so i never knew what he was like before, his violent tendecies grew as the year went on and he ruined christmas for the class by just being rude and violent to the other kids, at the end of the year my mom went to a parent teacher confrence and she came back to tell me Iancu’s real family died in a car crash when he was 1 year old and was adopted around 4 years old and has trauma from what happened in the orphanage, his parents we’re abusive and mean even tho they we’re so excited about him when he was adopted, one day he did something bad (cant remember) and the teacher was so fed up whit it that she called his mom, Iancu cried and screamed and grabbed the teacher by the arm trying to get her away from the phone, when the mother arrived her hair was gray and she was particullary skinny and a little bit taller than Iancu, when the mom heard what happened she tried to drag Iancu in the hallway and he almost tripped, the teacher brings the, both to the hallway and we saw his mother get closer to him while the teacher was getting in the way and shuts the door, we assume nothing happened since the teacher was there’s but his mom took him home and the teacher soon opens the door and continues to teach, Iancu didn’t show up for picture day but did our intensive english exam (im not sure if all schools do this but in Romania the children do an exam and get split in two diffrent classes whit other new kids that did the exams) we we’re split in the biology room and chemistry room, and i saw Iancu in the corner doing his exam. But after the exam was finished and we all made it home i was scared of the kid and told my mom to switch me classes so i can be whit my friend. The story ends when he leaves the school and we never found out his last name but we figured out his last name started whit one of the last letters in the alphabet which is why he was in the back of the class.
