Airbag Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
A bullet in your head. You're better of dead.
You should hide while you can.
Don't you see. This is just an endless ride. Here they come to take
Away your soul and pride. And it's all rights removed.
A restless soul. You'll never grow old. Too scared to let go.
Drifting back in the echoes of your past. Run 'till you fall.
But don't you see this is just an endless ride.
And here they come to take away your soul and pride.
All rights removed. Then one day you realize you're like just them.
With your cheap smile and your suit and tie.
You've been lying to yourself
But don't you see this is just an endless ride.
And here they come to take away your soul and pride.
All rights removed.
The lyrics of Airbag's song "All Rights Reserved" appear to be a commentary on the modern world, where people are often living on edge, feeling like a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode. The song suggests that people are constantly under threats – both external and internal – that they need to be watchful of. The lines "Running around like a ticking bomb. Just waiting to strike. A bullet in your head. You're better off dead" paint a picture of anxiety and paranoia. The singer advises listeners to hide while they still can, suggesting they'll be even safer in seclusion.
The song suggests that all our rights – even the basic ones like the right to privacy, freedom of expression, and the right to live without fear – have been taken away from us, and that we have become mere cogs in the wheel of a broken system. We're told that we're living an endless ride where they come to take our souls and pride away. The chorus repeats throughout the song, emphasizing this message. The song encourages listeners to take stock of their lives, to look at how they're living, and to stop lying to themselves. The final lines of the song suggest that we all eventually become the people we despise.

This band could go so far.... they're heavily Pink Floyd influenced but it doesn't mean this is bad, it's awesome in fact. I love the theme of the lyrics and the general atmosphere, definitely gonna pick this up.

Well they aren't metal. I think this is a band that pretty much any fan of Pink Floyd would like.

Well there is no denying the Gilmore guitar influence, which is not a bad thing. Its criminal that bands like these don't get the credit they deserve....loving Bjorn Riis solo stuff also.

Their live shows are standing room only. What’s so criminal about that?
