BooBoo Johnson began his musical career drumming with numerous touring bands across the country, before a chance visit to seminal London nightspot Turnmills changed his musical vision for good. Apart from his work with Phil, Boo Boo also produces under the Lovejuice and Bodyrock monickers alongside other top industry djs.
Philip Stone, a successful guitarist and vocalist, has worked as a sound engineer, producer and front of house mixer, before turning his hand to dance music production in the mid-nineties.
Having spent much of last year writing and producing their debut LP 'Caldo/Freddo', they release their next single 'Lately' through Zenith Café in Spring 2005
At last year's Miami Winter Music Conference attendance, the boys experienced a phenomenal response to lead album tracks 'Lately' and 'Sublime', the former being a firm favourite with more discerning Balearic club DJs. 'Sublime' reached number 8 in the Upfront Club Charts in Summer 2004 picking up support from djs and radio across the board.
Airbiscuit are due to launch an aggressive marketing campaign in the following months to promote 'Lately', with some excellent remix work by Boo Boo and Riley & Durrant. No doubt we will soon be hearing the name Airbiscuit on many a punter's lips. Watch this space!
