Their adventure began in a basement in East Moriches, NY, when Doug Del Gaudio and Stephen Forys started playing cover songs for friends and winning talent shows at their local high school. Once graduation hit, Doug went to college and put music on the backburner. "It was always in my heart (music), I just knew going to school, being a teacher, and having a great career was the right way to go." Doug said. "Eventually I found myself coming home to my guitar more then my books. That's when I knew I just had to go for it."
In the summer of 2006, after crafting a few acoustic songs together, Doug Del Gaudio and Stephen Forys recorded their first demo titled "Problems, Problems." at the Killingsworth Recording Studio on Long Island. "I remember being really excited to finally hear our stuff recorded, I knew it was the start of something special." Stephen said. After touring the tri-state area from 2006 to early 2007 with long time friend and new guitarist Chris Loret, and former bassist Daniel McCabe, they recorded their latest EP entitled "Getting Off The Ground," produced by Mia and Ava Koo (The Kung Fu Girls) and John Neclario of Nada Studios. The EP features sing-a-long favorites, "Walking Alone", "Enemy", "Everytime", and "For You."
In the spring of 2007, after Daniel McCabe chose to leave the band for personal reasons, Airdate solidified their lineup by adding long time friend Bryan (Fry) Whichelman on bass. "These guys were all my friends. I knew and loved every single song they ever wrote... So why the hell wouldn't I be allowed to be in the band?" Fry said.
In the summer of 2008, Airdate had the chance to work with producer and ex-Hidden In Plain View member Rob Freeman, crafting 5 brand new songs to be released in November of 08'. "This time, I wasn't concerned with structure, hooks, or rules. I wanted to write music that had a little more substance to it.. something that was more than just a sing-along. I think i accomplished the feeling i was searching for this time" Doug says. The band tested a few of the new songs out on the road earlier this year, and got a great vibe from the fans. "It was def a good sign when we saw kids singing these new songs that we havn't released anywhere yet.. not even demos. We knew we were on the right track" adds Steve. As far as sound goes, the band hasn't ventured too far from the "Getting Off The Ground" EP, but there is a noticable progression. "I think the songs are a little more 'in your face' , then the last record. It's a weird thing because we just write what feels great to us. If it's pop it's pop, we love it... we don't care. We aren't putting effort into writing pop songs and attempting to capitalize on it like some bands out there, and I'm proud of that.. we're in this for fun" Doug adds. Rob Freeman has produced a number of bands, most recently Ohio rockers Hit The Lights. When asked how it was working with Freeman, bassist Brian Wichelman said "He was a super-cool dude, he brought really cool ideas to the table, and really brought the songs up to the level they needed to be. Did I say he was a super-cool dude?" Upon the release of the new EP, Airdate plans to make it to a town near you, with new music and wildness!

Thanks for this simple straight to the point video and saying what to check first vs last. Very helpful 😊

Our mechanic was looking at our car and said the ABS module had a leak. The pedal is super soft, goes straight to the floor, and comes back up slow. It makes an airy kinda sound when you push it down, and when you get to the floor it just drives down the rest of the way with no resistance. It’s a 2010 RT charger. We bled the brakes swapped out 3 ABS modules and bled the brakes between each module, the problem still occurs. The mechanic told us there was a leak in the last module, and the second module was good but the screw on one of the lines was rethreaded, but the brake fluid wasn’t leaking in the second module. We did most of these on the list but we didn’t check the cylinder. We’ll try it next time.

There could also be air in an otherwise good master cylinder so might need to be bled as well, also if too much fluid leaked out there could be air in the ABS module which unfortunately requires a scan tool with ABS function to remove

Why add the brake booster if the symptom is a hard brake and not a sinking one? How would a good brake booster operate with a sinking pedal??? Thanks

My 2008 Ford Escape has been in two shops, spect a thousand dollars and had two master cylinder’s repairs without fixing my brake problem. The brake pedal looses pressure while driving and sinks almost to the floor. The place where I had it done said they want to be paid for labor and parts but the original issue has never been fixed. I’m at a loss. Could it be the brake booster? Please help.

It's hard to say, but a bad booster or the vacuum going to the booster can be an issue. Here is a video on how to test the booster. https://youtu.be/Czi0j8sKy5k

@HVAC Mechanic all sudden my car brakes feels in effective.. when I hit breaks in traffic it will stop the speed and leaves all sudden...which makes me afraid to drive and today I hit a truck where my bumper is damaged . Kindly suggest me ...( My breake pedal is not so smooth or to the floor ..but yeah will need to push it hard to stop and few times it will leave the grip in middle and makes me hit the car which is before me with 5 to 10 miles speed..

Ok so… I have VW Jetta… replace both front calipers, as one was sticky… I have bled all the calipers all the way around, disc brakes, no leaks.. pedal feels great, start car goes to floor, only a little brake at very end of pedal! Using tip toe!!( I’m short! Lol) went and bought a computer to bled abs, did that all the way around the car like 7xs, same issue… went and rebled normally, no air, start car hit brake, down to floor, pump a few times, it stiffens some and sinks back to floor! I’m not understanding and I need my car!! I have done everything I can think of! Master cylinder, has no leaks, never ran dry… help ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
