You need light, you need grace
Disappointment in your skin
I'll always let you in
Pull a feather from the nest
Fasten it to your chest
Shoot yourself up to me
You don't have to be scared
You hold yourself down there
You would like it here i know
You were meant to let it go
'Cause i am the sun
I'm the only one
I'll pull you to me
The moon and the sea
When the oxygen comes
And blows it all clean
Remember to breathe
Remember to breathe
And we are the ones
With the parts and the motion
We fill up the sky
And we burn with devotion
When our bodies are done
And hard times are over
Remember to breathe
Remember to breathe
The song "No More" by Aisha is a beautiful and introspective ballad about supporting someone through their struggles while reminding them of their strength and inner beauty. The opening lines set the tone for the rest of the song, as Aisha sings about the need for space, light and grace. The next lines speak about how someone may feel disappointment in their skin, but the singer will always let them in. This can be interpreted in many ways, but it suggests that the singer is trying to be there for someone who may feel isolated or alone in their struggles.
The next lines, "Pull a feather from the nest, fasten it to your chest, shoot yourself up to me, cut through the gravity," paint a picture of someone trying to rise above their troubles and make their way to the singer's light. The singer reassures them that they don't have to be scared, because they have the strength to overcome their challenges. The chorus repeats the lines "I am the sun, I'm the only one, I'll pull you to me, the moon and the sea." This can be interpreted as the singer playing the role of a beacon or anchor for the person they are trying to comfort.
The second verse speaks about the importance of breathing and remembering that we are all part of a larger universe. The lines "When the oxygen comes, and blows it all clean, remember to breathe, remember to breathe" suggest that breathing is a way to cleanse our minds and bodies. The final lines of the song "And we are the ones with the parts and the motion, we fill up the sky and we burn with devotion, when our bodies are done and hard times are over, remember to breathe, remember to breathe" can be interpreted as a call to find meaning and inspiration in our lives, even when times get tough.
