Eminem
Akon/Bobby Creekwater/Eminem/Stat Quo Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Ayo (ayo)
What do you think about two grown ass men living together?
Haha, alright (Whoo Kid)
Well, what do you think about another grown ass man
Living right upstairs from 'em?
Well, them two grown ass men living together on my nuts
And that's you right above 'em
Get the fuck off 'em

When I rhyme, somehow I think I must be subliminally throwin'
Viagra at these fags that got these hard-ons for me
But I suppose anything goes when it comes to my flows
Nothin' is off limits, except for Michael's nose
I didn't know, I'm so sorry, please tell me what I can do
To make it up to those of you who I offended
Ooh, I got it, I got an apology for Steve Harvey too
It's in my pocket, uh, wait, here it is, fuck you
Hey, what do you say, Andre? What's new?
Life is good, man, I'm chillin', 50, how 'bout you?
Yayo's out of jail, Buck is out on bail

We'll get through, we always do
ODB, rest in peace, G-G-G-Unit

Overall Meaning

The lyrics in this song are about the criticisms and rumors Eminem has faced regarding his personal life and sexuality. The opening lines of the song are a conversation between Eminem and someone else about the opinions people have about two grown men living together. The other person hints at Eminem's own living arrangements, which are rumored to include another grown man living upstairs from him. Eminem finds this talk annoying and tells the person to "get the fuck off" of his nuts.

Eminem then raps about how his music seems to attract both dedicated fans and obsessive haters. He suggests that he might be subliminally sending messages to his obsessed fans to take Viagra and get hard-ons for him. He makes it clear, however, that he doesn't care what his haters think and that nothing is off-limits when it comes to his music except for Michael Jackson's nose. Eminem then goes on to apologize for any offense he may have caused in the past, including to Steve Harvey, but ultimately tells him to "fuck you". The end of the song pays tribute to Ol' Dirty Bastard from the Wu-Tang Clan.
