They associated with Gangs in Los Angeles Mostly Black and Hispanic Like Bloods, Crips, Sureño MS13 and more and as well white and Asian as well back in the 1990s before they’re famous.
Their first album, Proyecto Akwid, won two Billboard Prizes and a Latin Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album.
Their 2004 album KOMP 104.9 Radio Compa is in the form of a broadcast on a fictitious radio station.
