Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with emotion that I break down and cry.

when i'm lying in bed
These moments often occur when I'm alone with my thoughts, lying down in bed.

just to get it all out
Crying helps me release pent-up feelings and emotions that were weighing me down.

what's in my head
This refers to all the thoughts and worries that are occupying my mind and causing me anxiety.

and i am feeling a little peculiar
After crying, I may feel a bit strange or out of sorts.

and so i wake in the morning
Starting a new day, fresh and full of hope and potential.

and i step outside
I go outdoors, ready to face whatever challenges may come my way.

and i take a deep breath and i get real high
Breathing deeply and feeling the fresh air fills me with a sense of energy and optimism.

and i scream at the top of my lungs
As a way of expressing my enthusiasm and excitement about life, I shout at the top of my lungs.

what's going on?
This is both a question to myself as well as a general inquiry about the state of the world at large.

This is a way of expressing my happiness and positive energy through vocalization.

i said hey. what's going on?
Once again, I am asking myself and others about the general state of affairs in the world.

This is just another way of expressing my positive energy and excitement.

and i try. oh my god do i try
I am working extremely hard to achieve my goals in life, often in difficult or challenging circumstances.

i try all the time. in this institution
This line talks about the effort needed to succeed in a competitive world where it seems like we're all 'institutionalized.'

and i pray. oh my god do i pray
On top of working hard, I also pray to a higher power for guidance and strength.

i pray every single day
Every day, I make a conscious effort to connect with something greater than myself and seek help.

for a revolution
I hope for a major change in the way things are in the world, a revolution that can bring about a brighter future.
