Contrary to the bad season the Giants have a talented young core & a bright future. Injuries once again ravaged us especially our Oline. Injuries are oart of the game but we have often had an insanely high number of injuries to starters & important players which has been a constant issue since 2013.
We’ve led the NFL several times in injuries & starter time lost several seasons the past decade. Anyway, Tyrod Taylor showed what our speedy receivers can do for the offense once they open things up.
Our biggest needs are a #1 WR, more Oline help & an additional top pass rusher. After that it’s health & depth that are important. Of course we may draft a young QB to compete with Jones. Honestly Jones deserves a full healthy year with a solid Oline & healthy weapons to see what he can do in a full season under Daboll. He may get it or may not but if he does, he’ll no longer have an excuse & his injury history has built up & is troubling. A torn ACL & two neck injuries is pretty serious.
While we need a #1 receiver the Giants receiving corps has shown they are a diverse, balanced & deep group. We have a lot of young talent & great overall speed. They all display different skill sets. Slayton has shown that he is fast & dependable once again as he led the Giants receivers in a lot of categories. Hyatt has shown he is more than just a speed demon & has good hands & body control. Wan’Dale has grown & developed a lot this year displaying why the Giants used a 2nd round pick on him. He is shifty & can do all sorts of plays even rushing at times. He could be our mini version of Deebo Samuel. If we add a true #1 receiver to this group, it could be a very dangerous unit & one of the deepest in the league. Adding Nabers or Odunze would be a perfect fit.
Anyway I’m happy for the Giants winning today. You always play to win & the team showed flashes of what can be. The silver lining is that we won & didn’t lose our draft spot. We hold the 6th pick & have an extra second. We definitely need to consider taking a top receiver like Nabers or Odunze in Round 1 if we don’t go QB. The Only QB I think we should consider is Maye. Williams will go #1 & while Penix has talent our roster isn’t set up for him & he poses risk. The other QBs like Daniels, Nix & McCarthy pose a lot of risk too. It’s better we improve the talent, balance & depth to our roster while addressing the biggest needs. We need to focus on receiver, Oline, pass rush & depth. This draft will be crucial & a 3rd solis draft in a row should allow us to level up after smashing the 2022 & 2023 drafts.
I cannot wait for the combine & draft, or next season. We have a bright future Giants fans! Let’s Go Giants!

Weren't the Eagles 10-1 at one point ? What an epic meltdown. To end the season with a beatdown from the giants😮 it will be interesting as to what happens in the playoffs.

They deserved losses against Chiefs and Bills, but lucked out with a dropped ball on the winning TD for the chiefs, and a receiver turning his head the wrong way for the open winning TD for the Bills. And Dallas game should have gone to OT. The eagles should have been 7-4 or 8-3 at best, and would be scratching on the outside trying to make the playoffs with an 8-9 record.
