The first time I heard this song, it stopped me dead in my tracks and the tears poured uncontrollably. My fiance and I had a relationship of turmoil due to his drug addiction and I had to make the decision to end the relationship which hurt me because I loved him with all of my heart. But on drugs, it was miserable. Several months after we split up, he overdosed and passed away. I heard this song shortly after for the first time and its been sealed in my heart forever. Thank you Lady Gaga for giving my pain words

Wow. My condolences to you. Just know that it's not your fault. He clearly had some demons he was battling. My best friend passed away 8 months ago. He was depressed and his health was failing him (it could've been prevented. It didn't have to be fatal). It still breaks my heart that I couldn't bring the happiness to him. I couldn't make him see his value to the world.

My boyfriend’s addiction made our lives miserable, he did not want help, he did not want anything, I tried my 1000%, I gave everything and beyond from me, but I was being absorbed to that same shit hole. We both know how hard was that decision to break up. My boyfriend died one year and a half later we broke up due to overdose. This son also describes for me all the pain I had, all the hopeless and powerless feelings of seeing the love of your life going down. 😢

Been a fan since I was little ever since my mom introduced me to her, she helped me boost my confidence, and hearing this song, made me cry just because of everything she has been through, and remembering what her mom said about bullying, made me remember the amount of bullying I received as a child till now. She also made me realize that comparing myself to people ruins my confidence. This song also reminded me about my fake friends i just need a good one to stay that part made me realize how much of a fake my old friends were.

This song remind me to 2018 when I was having my worst year ever. Battling to be happy and failing over and over. Making bad decisions. Just because the person I loved the most didn't want me to be by his side. He was my best and only friend. I was listening to this song while preparing for my final exams, when he emailed me to tell me that it was better not to see each other again because he was bad for me. I never got to see him again. Never dared to. Now I blame myself. He died a few months ago. And I miss him so much.

this song was played at my friends moms funeral nearly 5 years ago and still to this day i cant hear this song or any song like this without leaving its a good song but the memories are just too much
