I spend a lot of time experimenting with different ways to use and modify sounds in my music

I appreciate lyrics and beats that are unpolished and unfiltered

coppin' mad timberlands, like the malls that you shop at
I enjoy purchasing Timberland boots, just like many other people who go shopping at malls

combat fatigues
I like wearing military-style clothing

a notebook full of rhyme schemes that I keep in my backpack
I always carry a notebook with me, which is filled with my ideas for rhymes and songs

and I like anthem of my life, rockin' the mic
Performing music is a big part of my life, and I enjoy creating songs that reflect my experiences

spending' a little time showin' love to my wife
I appreciate the value of spending quality time with my wife and showing her affection

The way Christ loved us, sacrificed his life
I admire the selfless love that Jesus demonstrated when he died for us

And bore them stripes, restorin' the life
He suffered and died so that we might be saved and restored

Doin' shows on the stage, seeing souls gettin' saved
I love performing for an audience and seeing people respond positively to my message

Hearin' this track being played in ya Escalade
It brings me joy to hear my music being played on someone's car sound system

Someone cruising through the neighborhood in their car with fancy wheels

During a performance, I want the audience to put their hands in the air

Cause there's a lot of things I like, but only one thing I love
I enjoy many things, but there is only one thing that I truly love

I like Saturdays and just waking up late
I appreciate the relaxing feeling of sleeping in on a Saturday

I like things right away cause I don't like to wait
I don't have a lot of patience, so I prefer things that happen quickly

I like Tastee cakes and Philly Cheese Steaks
I enjoy eating some of the classic foods from the Philadelphia area

and the Tampa Bay Bucs and Miami Hurricanes
I am a fan of these sports teams from Florida

I like my shoes clean with a fresh pair of jeans
I appreciate clothing and footwear that looks new and well-maintained

And some rice and some beans, and a box of Krispy Kremes
I like certain types of food, including rice and beans, as well as doughnuts from Krispy Kreme

And I like Mountain Dew cause I like the caffeine
I enjoy drinking Mountain Dew, especially for the energy boost from the caffeine

And the Pistons and the Wolverines is my sports teams
I support these sports teams from the Detroit and Ann Arbor areas

I like a double double at the In and Out Burger
I enjoy getting a specific type of cheeseburger from In-N-Out Burger, called a Double-Double

But I don't like McDonald's; they always mess up my order
I have had negative experiences ordering food from McDonald's, so I try to avoid it

I like my man Spongebob and Homestar Runner
I enjoy watching certain TV shows, including Spongebob Squarepants and Homestar Runner

I like Flip Flops and tank tops in the summer
I prefer wearing certain types of clothing during the summertime

I like to make goofy faces when I smile for the camera
I enjoy being silly when I take pictures

I like rock, old school, hip-hop, and MC Hammer
I appreciate a variety of music genres, including rock, old school hip-hop, and MC Hammer's music

I like XBOX, clean socks; I like Canada
I have some particular preferences, including playing video games on Xbox, having clean socks, and enjoying the country of Canada

But there's one thing I want and this is what I'm asking' ya
Despite all the things I enjoy, there is one special request that I have

See I'm lovin' that you're the one that tells me I can
I appreciate when others encourage me and give me confidence

And I just love the fact that you just loved me first
I am grateful for the love that was shown to me before I even knew about it

And you erased the past, freed me from the curse
The love of God has helped me to move on from my past and find freedom from my mistakes and sins

And even at the times when I just act the worst
Even when I am not at my best, God's love for me remains

I love that you take me back, that I don't deserve
I am thankful for the forgiveness that God offers, even when I have not earned or deserved it

And I love every time that I open your word
I find joy in reading and studying passages from the Bible

That I see in every line, every chapter and verse
I find meaning and truth in every part of the Bible

That your love made you die and the love that occurred
I appreciate the sacrificial love that Jesus demonstrated by dying on the cross

Left you crucified for your love for the world
His love for humanity led to his death on the cross

And I love how you just love me so much
I am amazed by the incredible love that God has for me

And I love how you provide just more than enough
I am grateful for the abundance of blessings that God has given me

With the rhyme that I say right now that I bust
I express my gratitude through the music that I create

See I like a lot of things, but you're the one I love
