All You Gotta Change

And maybe neither was yesterday
But girl, you gotta see what I see:
Tomorrow will be good
I wouldn't say this just to please you
I wouldn't hold it from you, cause it's easy
And I know you'll disagree
But girl, you've got it wrong
Not the condition of your skin
It ain't the weight you're hoping losing
Or the crisis that you're in
It's not the moody swings you have
Not at all, cause that's just you
You see, there's nothing you should change
But the will to want to
So maybe this is not the time
But baby, time is on your side
You see, the sooner that you know this
The sooner things will be alright
And I don't claim to understand
All I know is that I'm your man
And I get to see first hand
That girl, you've got it wrong
It ain't the color of your hair
Not the condition of your skin
It ain't the weight you're hoping losing
Or the crisis that you're in
It's not the moody swings you have
Not at all, cause that's just you
You see, there's nothing you should change
But the will to want to
All you ought to do is draw a line
Tell yourself the way you are is fine
Ain't nobody else you really need
To show you you've become what you wanted to be
Everything you have is heavenly
For as far as I can see,
There's no one in the world
Who is more beautiful
It ain't the color of your hair
Not the condition of your skin
It ain't the weight you're hoping losing
Or the crisis that you're in
It's not the moody swings you have
Not at all, cause that's just you
You see, there's nothing you should change
But the will to want to
The song "All You Gotta Change" by Alain Clark is a message of love and encouragement to a woman who is struggling with low self-esteem. The lyrics speak directly to the woman, telling her that even though she may not feel good about herself today or yesterday, tomorrow will be better. The singer of the song tries to convince the woman that her worth is not based on her physical appearance or her current situation, but rather on her inner strength and willpower. The singer tells the woman that she doesn't need to change anything about herself except her own perception of herself. The song encourages her to draw a line and accept herself for who she is, acknowledging the fact that she has become what she has always wanted to be.
The song's message is simple but powerful. It's a reminder that we all struggle with feelings of inadequacy and insecurity, and that sometimes we need someone else to remind us of our worth. The singer in the song doesn't claim to understand everything the woman is going through, but he knows that he loves her and that she is capable of overcoming whatever obstacles she may be facing. The song is ultimately a message of hope, encouraging the woman to see herself in a positive light and to believe in her own strength and beauty.

"...not at all, cause that's just you.. You see, there's nothing you should change, but the will to want to" Love these lyrics, such a beautiful song! Very different from the simple, rushed, "let's please the crowd" sound the radio plays nowadays..
