Pebble Tears
Alain Johannes Lyrics

LÁGRIMAS DE GUIJARRO

Ondulación, lejos mar atado
En ríos de arcilla
Las nubes en sus ojos
Va a asaltar su corazón otra vez
La felicidad de la memoria
Chamusquidos y cicatrices con un beso
Azul resplandeciente verde
Tan profundo en su mente
De nuevo
En cada orilla
Sus lágrimas de guijarros
Transmitir una caída
Incluso después de todos estos años
Todavía hay mucho más
Ondulación, lejos mar atado
En ríos de arcilla
Las nubes en su corazón
De nuevo
Las nubes en sus ojos

Va a asaltar su corazón
De nuevo

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Alain Johannes's song "Pebble Tears" are full of poetic imagery, conveying a sense of both nostalgia and pain. The opening verse describes an undulating sea in the distance, tied to rivers of clay, while clouds fill the character's eyes and heart. The lyrics suggest that the character is haunted by memories of happiness and suffering, with scars and burns on their skin from a past kiss. The "blue shining green" hints at the complexity and depth of the character's thoughts and emotions, as they once again confront the weight of their experiences.

The second verse repeats the opening lines, emphasizing the cyclical nature of the character's emotional landscape. The image of tears turning to pebbles that still fall after all these years suggests that the character has been carrying this burden for a long time, with no end in sight. The final lines suggest that the character is still struggling to reconcile their past and present, with clouds once again filling their eyes and heart.

Sounds like something Paul McCartney woud write :D Actually, it reminds me of Cry Baby Cry, thought I think it's just that little part at 0:15 , I have this thing that songs seem to sound really similar to me, though, it's mostly because of insignificant parts in the song. If anyone's reading this - do you find anything simar between those two songs? Just curious)
