The answer is blowin' in the wind
Taxi Driver
The answer is blowin' in the wind
The lyrics of Alan's song, "風の手紙" (Kaze no tegami), speak of the power of love and how it can connect people despite distance and time. The wind is personified as a messenger, carrying letters of love and comfort to the person who needs it the most. The song begins with the wind being born and the clouds flowing towards the person the singer is addressing. The singer tells the person that love will be their wings to help them reach their dreams and aspirations.
The singer then reflects on the idea that people often do not see what is right in front of them, such as the singer's presence in the person's life. The singer questions why they did not notice the singer's love before. The song urges the person to express their emotions, even in small ways, as it is better than leaving them unspoken. The song emphasizes the connection of humanity and that everyone is responsible for making the world a better place by changing their perspective and making connections with others.
In summary, "風の手紙" is about the messenger wind bringing love and hope to a person, allowing them to realize their potential with the support of a loved one. The song underlines the importance of expressing one's emotions and taking responsibility to create a better, more interconnected world.
