The lyrics of Alan's song "San Sheng Shi San Sheng Lu" are about the pain and longing of a person separated from their loved one. The first verse talks about a cold, lonely night with only a candle and the image of the person's distressed face reflected in the mirror. The second verse expresses the anguish of unrequited love and the passing of time with no resolution. The chorus repeats the phrase "san sheng shi san sheng lu" which means "three lives, three worlds, three fates return to dust," emphasizing the inevitability of separation and loss.
The lyrics further delve into the feelings of the person left behind, struggling to come to terms with their separation. They long for their loved one and feel as though life without them is empty and meaningless. The verses also reference the idea of reincarnation and how people can be connected across multiple lifetimes.
Overall, the song is a poignant expression of heartbreak and the desire to be reunited with someone who has been lost.

The Chinese version is more authentic. I prefer the Chinese version because her pronunciation is way better and has more feeling to it.
