@musicaltheatrefan2k226

Now I want the new musical version to end like this:

Triton: If only you would stay, and never say goodbye.
If only I could make time stop, believe me, I would try.
But fathers have to learn that daughters have to grow.
And if you truly love them, you must let them go.

Ariel: And, oh, I love you so, if only you could…

(short dialogue…)

All: And now at last, love has surpassed each tribulation.
Mermaid and man finally can join and be one!
Now they can smile, walking the aisle,
here at their wedding celebration.

Eric: Sailing forward…

Ariel: Standing steady…

Ariel/Eric: Starting life, completely ready!

All: And now, they can be who they're meant to be,
now, they can gaze on a new horizon,
here between ocean and sky, forever and on!
Now they can walk, now they can run, now that at last,
their story's begun.

Ariel/Eric: Just you and me, and I/you will be…

All: …part of your/our… WORLD!!!!!
Part of your/world!!!!!!
Ahhhhhhhh!!!

(All hold note as the melody of "Wild Uncharted Waters" plays)

@nathanguymon880

Having seen the movie for myself, I was feeling like Peter Griffin when he saw Autumn's Piano with Lois. I even imagined this in the back of my mind as the finale played out;

Peter sits in his chair, curled up to his legs and on the verge to cry.

Ariel: I love you, Father.

Peter: No!!! Why?! Why?! But a mermaid has no tears and there you are having them for the first time in your life!😢😭👏

Peter gets up crying as he applauds the movie he's been hooked by.

Combining Wild Uncharted Waters with Part Of Your World near the end gave me chills.

@panthosilea

Me too. I love the new songs

@haydenberends3905

Love that they gave Eric a song, as well as more of a character. Really makes his and Ariel's love story that much stronger.

PART OF YOUR WORLD!!!!!!!

@systemshocker2875

I wonder if audiences will sing that part in the theaters since its missing here

@GhostFace6969

will she not be singing it in the movie?

@ignaciochancalay1057

@@GhostFace6969 she Will sing all the songs of the original Ariel, but, part of your world has a second reprise that didn't exits on the original Movie now, so, i think they didn't want to make a third reprise, so they Did It just with the instruments for the finale, and probably Ariel and Erick's weeding that it's more likely to be shown on this version
