Diamond Heart
Alan Walker Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Hello, sweet grief
I know you will be the death of me
Feel like the morning after ecstasy
I am drowning in an endless sea
Hello, old friend
Here's the misery that knows no end
So I'm doing everything I can
To make sure I never love again

I wish that I did not know
Where all broken lovers go
I wish that my heart was made of stone
Yeah, if I was bulletproof
I'd love you black and blue
If I was solid like a jewel

If I had a diamond heart
Oh oh
I'd give you all my love
If I was unbreakable
If I had a diamond heart
Oh oh
You could shoot me with a gun of gold
If I was unbreakable

I'd walk straight through the bullet
Bend like a tulip
Blue-eyed and foolish
Never mind the bruises
Into the fire
Breakin' through the wires
Give you all I've got
If I had a diamond heart
I'd walk straight through the dagger
Never break the pattern
Diamonds don't shatter
Beautiful and battered
Into the poison
Cry you an ocean
Give you all I've got

Goodbye, so long
I don't know if this is right or wrong
Am I giving up where I belong?
'Cause every station's playing our song
Goodbye, my love
You are everything my dreams made of
You'll be Prince and I'm the crying dove
If I only were unbreakable

I wish that I did not know
Where all broken lovers go
I wish that my heart was made of stone
Yeah, if I was bulletproof
I'd love you black and blue
If I was solid like a jewel

If I had a diamond heart
Oh oh
I'd give you all my love
If I was unbreakable
If I had a diamond heart
Oh oh
You could shoot me with a gun of gold
If I was unbreakable

I'd walk straight through the bullet
Bend like a tulip
Blue-eyed and foolish
Never mind the bruises
Into the fire
Breakin' through the wires
Give you all I've got
If I had a diamond heart
I'd walk straight through the dagger
Never break the pattern
Diamonds don't shatter
Beautiful and battered
Into the poison
Cry you an ocean
Give you all I've got

La-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la
This is the story (la-la-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la)
I'd give you all my love (I'd give you)
If I was unbreakable (the story, la-la-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la)
You could shoot me with a gun of gold
If I was unbreakable

I'd walk straight through the bullet
Bend like a tulip
Blue-eyed and foolish
Never mind the bruises
Into the fire
Breakin' through the wires
Give you all I've got
I'd walk straight through the dagger
Never break the pattern
Diamonds don't shatter
Beautiful and battered
Into the poison
Cry you an ocean
Give you all I've got

@SportSpiritt

I think I'm the first 1 To write this 😍🔥

I'm Faded
I'm Tired
I'm Alone
so Sing Me to Sleep
when it All Falls Down
into the Dark side...
with the Force of the Sky,
a Routine to ignite
the spectre of an
unbreakable diamond heart

; )

@chamroeunruos

Have you been TIRED
Have you been ALONE
Have you been FADED
Have you wanted to IGNITE
You gave it some FORCE
But there is no HOPE
Have you fell in through the DARKSIDE
How do you ever wanted someone to SING ME TO SLEEP
When it ALL FALLS DOWN
Do you wanted THE SPECTRE
In a BIG UNIVERSE
You wanted a NEW HEART
a DIAMOND HEART.

@plasmapanther4444

yeah, a better one would be.
Have you been tired?
You ever want someone to sing you to sleep?
Have you been alone?
Have you ever been faded?
When it all falls down.
and you fall into the dark side,
in a big universe.
You'll want a diamond heart.

@Igrium

I like to believe all the cinematic World of Walker music videos are in the same universe. In chronological order:

1. Sing Me to Sleep: Some person or entity guides a group of people together. They form a group called the Walkers. They all carry some object in their backpack, that when united, projects some pattern on to the ceiling. It's possibly a scanner, as the projection looks similar to those in "Darkside".
2. Alone: A call is put out, and other Walkers from all over the internet join together in different groups around the world.
3. Ignite (maybe): One of the Walkers creates headphones that transport the wearer to a special paradise.
4. Tired: Many years after the forming of the Walkers, a solar flare is approaching fast. Groups of Walkers around the world make devices that would scan bits of ruins, and, once united, construct them into a utopia for the survivors of the flare. They also build shield like objects that, once enough things were scanned, would guide the walkers together. They bury these underground, where they'll be safe, and all sit together as the flare hits and they presumably die.
5. Faded: One of the Walkers who survived is trying to cope with the new world after the flare. He's completely alone and trying to find a place that isn't in ruins because of the flare, guided by a picture he carries of a lovely rural house. He travels a long way, hoping this house will be his salvation, but when he gets there, it's destroyed like everything else.
6. All Falls down: An unknown amount of time later, a group of teenagers, who presumably grew up in this post-apoplectic world, dig up one of the safes with the scanners, but don't know what to do with them. In the night, a group of older people, presumably some of the Walkers who buried the scanners in the first place, come and set something up that shows them how to use them.
7: Darkside: The group of older Walkers is scanning a monument of some sort, and the teenagers observe them doing it from afar. They are inspired, and after fiddling with the scanners a bit, go and scan another monument. Finally the Walkers officially meet on a mountaintop.
8. Diamond Heart: Different groups of Walkers discover these scanners and, soon, the shields start showing glimpses of what other scanners are scanning. The scanners proceed to guide the walkers together once again, and they finally build their utopia.

A lot of this is probably incorrect, and they might not even exist in the same cannon, but it's cool to think about never the less.

@prajakta7817

I'm "Alone"
I'm "Faded"
I'm "Tired"
So "Sing me to sleep"
When it "All falls down"
In the "Darkside"
with the "Force" of the sky.
Let me "Ignite" myself again
For the unwanted daily routine & walk along with the "Spectre" of a heart break
Wish I had a strong, unbreakable "Diamond Heart" !
❤❤❤

I'm Tired, Faded, and Alone. Can someone please Sing Me to Sleep? I'm scared of The Spectre under my bed. When It All Falls Down, I don't wanna fall to the Darkside. I need someone with a Diamond Heart.
