The album also features most of his popular songs including "Sing Me To Sleep" with Iselin Solheim, "Alone" with uncredited vocals from Noonie Bao, "Darkside" with Au/Ra and Tomine Harket and more. "Different World" was officially released on 14 December 2018, and since then, it gained billions of streams on Spotify alone; with "Faded" being the most streamed with over 1B streams.

Its first part was released on 17 June 2022, with its first tracks being: his remix of "Adventure Time" with Philter, "Somebody Like U" with Au/Ra, "Blue" with Ina Wroldsen, along with previously released songs "The Drum" featuring uncredited vocals by Kristin Carpenter and "Hello World" with Torine. According to him, it is to keep a low profile, but then also stated that the mask is now more of a sign of unity and being alike each other.

Finding it so hard to say I'm broken (yeah, uh, yeah, again)
The things we never talk about
I'm a bit afraid to let you know it
When I told you it was fine
It was just another lie
Just like boys don't cry
Lost in the threads of a little spider webs
Got me hiding in a corner, trying not to call her
This is how the heart breaks, just like you said
A fairy tale from hell, thanks to everything you told me
Even though I'm lonely, I'ma
I'ma be ok
When I told you it was fine
It was just another lie
Saying boys don't cry
Lost in the threads of a little spider webs
Got me hiding in a corner, trying not to call her
This is how the heart breaks, just like you said
A fairy tale from hell, thanks to everything you told me
Even though I'm lonely, I'ma
I'ma be ok
(I'ma, I'ma)
(I'ma, I'ma)
(I'ma be ok)
(I'ma, I'ma)
(I'ma, I'ma)
(I'ma be ok)
The lyrics of Alan Walker's song OK showcase the struggles of letting people in and the fear of revealing one's true emotions. The opening lines highlight the difficulty of being vulnerable, confessing one's emotional state, and admitting that one is broken. The fear of being judged or rejected is enough to keep someone from talking about things that bother them. The lyricist goes on to say that when he tries to brush it off and tell people that everything is "fine," it is just another lie. He equates this denial of feelings to the stereotype that "boys don't cry." In doing so, the song presents a tacit critique of gender norms and how they limit emotional expression, especially in men.
The second verse interrogates the interiority and confusion that comes with experiencing heartbreak. The lyric "Lost in the threads of a little spider webs" is a metaphor for the emotional trap that ensnares people when they are undergoing heartbreak. The act of hiding in a corner and not calling someone is representative of the isolation and withdrawal that typically comes with heartbreak. The song's bridge affirms that despite everything, the singer will be okay. He acknowledges that it may be tough, but he still has faith that he will come out of it on the other side. The song is reassuring that even in the midst of pain, there will always be a way to heal and move forward.
