In the beginning were a trio until 2003 when Aroa decided to leave the group. In 2000, won the Festival de Benidorm to reach the moon, their first hit and title of their first album produced by Daniel Muneta, who originally named the trio. Alcanzarás la Luna was fifth in "Eurocanción" to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest.

The lyrics of Alazán's song "Torero" tell the story of a woman who is deeply in love with a torero (bullfighter) who constantly hurts her feelings, but she still can't resist him. The first verse sets the scene of him leaving her and her feeling abandoned and heartbroken. When he comes back begging for forgiveness, she can't help but let him in, even though she knows he will hurt her again. Despite his mistreatment, she is still drawn to him and compares him to a toro (bull) in the ruedo (bullfighting ring) of her heart. She is aware that he doesn't care about her feelings, but she can't help but long for him and his capote (cape) to cover her heart. The repetition of the chorus emphasizes her conflicting emotions of saying no and then still wanting him.
