The lyrics to Alci Acosta's song "El Ultimo Beso" depicts the grief and sorrow of the singer losing his love. He wonders why she had to leave and why she had to die, and now she is in heaven. The singer wants to be good to join her and be with her once again. The lyrics narrate an accident in which the singer and his love were driving at night, he was driving fast, and he couldn't see clearly. The car rolls over, and he loses her in the accident.
In the second verse, after the accident, the singer gets out of the car, and he doesn't know where he is. When he wakes up, he goes back to the car and finds his love still alive but barely. She knows her end is near, and she tells him that she will be waiting for him where God is. She knows that God has separated them, but she wants the singer to hold her tight before she goes. The song ends with the singer giving her one last kiss, and she dies in his arms.
