I, too, have been a fan of rocksteady and reggae since about 1968 - hard to believe it's more than 50 years now - but I have to say the vocals here are incredibly weak. The artist - with whom I was not familiar until I read the comments below - did not do himself any favours recording this. I'm glad I was listening to this alone as it was, sadly, embarassing to hear. A strong tune like this needs a strong vocalist and the singer was unfortunately not the man for the job on this occasion.

@Bob Fitzgerald this song is one of the best all time song in the dance hall from the day this song release there is not a sound system that don't have this along with a whole lot of hard driving dub plate behind it this guy also use to sing with a very successful group in the sixties
