Alexiane Silla, known simply as Alexiane, was born in Montmagny, Quebec, on July 21, 1992, the only child to a Senegalese father and a Canadian mother. She grew up moving between Senegal and Canada. In January of 2017, she moved from Montreal to Los Angeles to study music economics and production at UCLA Extension. Later that year, she contributed to the song 'A Million On My Soul' for her uncle Luc Besson's film 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.'
With more than 10 million YouTube views from her first single under her belt, Alexiane turned her attention next to her full-length debut, Into the Sun and its lead single “Safe Haven”, which will also feature all six songs from her 2020 EP 'Bad Sounds'.
