9) Alice, Alice burst onto the Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts hardcore and screamo scene early in 2006. Two years and two new members later, the 5 piece band is reaching the peak of their creativity and punishing crowds with their brutal, yet melodic live act. Yeugene Barokha provides the lead vocals and tickles the ivories of the keyboard, Jeff Brown and Roger duel on the axes, Dan Hetu lays down the powerfully tight bass lines, and Bobby Malice bangs out the beats with utter abandon. Combining all these elements results in something much greater than just the sum of its parts. Alice believes they owe every bit of success to their fans, and pours every ounce of energy into every second of their music to pay them back. myspace.com/alicerock1

It's like you think I don't hear bout everything you say
Can't believe I once called you friends
So run away
This is the end
Of you and me
This is the end
Run away
Talkin that shit, thought that I'd forget
Tryna get me back I'm like nah I'm set
Say you're ride or die
I say more like bye
Got a new clean slate, I don't think we've met
Who are you? Who are you?
Can't remember, whatcha gon do
Who are you? Who are you?
Can't remember, you must be new, uh
Why you all comin up in my space
I don't know you, get out my face
Who are you? Who are you?
Who are you? Who are you?
Fake is your game
Holier than thou should be your new name
Judgin my look, my style, I own it
I get you think I'm fly, won't blame
I never
Asked your opinion
It never
meant shit to me
and you're bitter
Don't know why you're trippin cuz im out here winnin
Guess it's cuz you mad that you ain't nothin to see
Talkin that shit, thought that I'd forget
Tryna get me back I'm like nah I'm set
Say you're ride or die
I say more like bye
Got a new clean slate, I don't think we've met
Who are you? Who are you?
Can't remember, whatcha gon do
Who are you? Who are you?
Can't remember, you must be new, uh
Why you all comin up in my space
I don't know you, get out my face
Who are you? Who are you?
Who are you? Who are you?
Can't accept who I am
You spoke out of turn
Well I just don't give a damn
Gonna let you go
I live my way
These ain't games I'm tryna play
I'll be the one who got away
I don't think we've met
Who are you? Who are you?
Can't remember, whatcha gon do
Who are you? Who are you?
Can't remember, you must be new, uh
Don't act like you know me, just know your place
I don't know you, get out my face
Who are you? Who are you?
Who are you? Who are you?
Who are you? Who are you?
Can't remember, whatcha gon do
Who are you? Who are you?
Can't remember, you must be new, uh
Don't act like you know me, just know your place
I don't know you, fuck out my face
Who are you? Who are you?
Who are you? Who are you?
The lyrics of Alice's song "Who Are You" are about a narrator who distances themselves from fake friends who judge and criticize them. The singer is hurt by their friends' behavior and decides to cut them off completely, stating that this is the end of their friendship. The song's chorus repeatedly asks the question "Who are you?" as if the singer has forgotten who their friends really are and doesn't want anything to do with them anymore.
The lyrics also highlight how the singer has moved on from their past and is trying to live their life the way they want to. They don't want to play any games, and they don't care if their former friends don't accept them for who they are. The chorus's use of "Can't remember, you must be new" and "Don't act like you know me" implies a sort of rebirth for the singer, as they shed their old persona and start fresh. By the end of the song, the singer is confident in their decision to let their former friends go and declares that they'll be the one who got away.
Overall, the theme of the song is about finding your true self, cutting ties with toxic people, and embracing your freedom to be who you want to be without worrying about others' judgment.

Alice is very nice and she never wants to upset anyone. She didn’t mean to insult the Caterpillar’s height, she just wanted help on growing back to her right size because she only meant 3 inches was an uncomfortable height for herself. She is nice. She does not mean any real harm at all.

Does anybody notice how young Alice's voice sounds in this particular scene, compared to the other parts of the movie? I could be wrong, but I'm assuming this moment with the Caterpillar must've been Kathryn Beaumont's first scene as Alice.

I like how the Caterpillar's smoke makes shapes that match the things he says.
