Originating in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1964, "Alice Cooper" was originally a band with roots extending back to a band called the Earwigs, consisting of Furnier on lead vocals and harmonica, Glen Buxton on lead guitar, and Dennis Dunaway on bass guitar and backing vocals. By 1966, Michael Bruce on rhythm guitar joined the three and Neal Smith was added on drums in 1967. The five named the band "Alice Cooper", and Furnier eventually adopted it as his stage pseudonym. They released their 1969 debut studio album with limited chart success. Breaking out with the 1970 single "I'm Eighteen" and the third studio album Love It to Death, the band reached their commercial peak in 1973 with their sixth studio album, Billion Dollar Babies. After the band broke up, Furnier legally changed his name to Alice Cooper and began a solo career in 1975 with the concept album Welcome to My Nightmare. Over his career, Cooper has sold well over 50 million records.
Cooper has experimented with a number of musical styles, mainly hard rock, glam rock, heavy metal, and glam metal, but also new wave (1980–1983), art rock on DaDa (1983), and industrial rock on Brutal Planet (2000) and Dragontown (2001). He helped to shape the sound and look of heavy metal, and has been described as the artist who "first introduced horror imagery to rock 'n' roll, and whose stagecraft and showmanship have permanently transformed the genre". He is also known for his wit offstage, with The Rolling Stone Album Guide calling him the world's most "beloved heavy metal entertainer". Away from music, Cooper is a film actor, a golfing celebrity, a restaurateur, and, since 2004, a radio disc jockey (DJ) with his classic rock show Nights with Alice Cooper.

There's a nun having fun and she lost her soul
She's got cash, she got laid
Now she's dealin' with me and she gonna get paid
She got caught with the bishop
She got caught with the abbot
Even cardinal sin tried to feed her habit
Now we get whores and pimps and skanks
Whatever happened to me
Can't remember my name
Flying so high on angelic wings
Flew too close to the flame
Sister Sara
It's your penalty for eternity
(For eternity)
Did you think that you were saved
(For eternity)
You forget your old identity who you used to be
(For eter... sara)
Sister Sara
So depraved
Oh, come O ye faithless, get in line
You're gonna drown in the water, turned to wine
And you're all going to wallow in your sin and shame
You had every opportunity to call His name
Don't look surprised, don't be in shock
You'll be a lovely little demon in my private stock
I'm just doing my job to pull you down
'Cause it's a one way ticket down to Dragontown
(Whatever happened to me)
You got caught in my web
(Can't remember my name)
You made your own bed here
(Flying so high on angelic wings)
And now you must keep me well fed
(Flew too close to the flame)
You're mine, too bad,
You're here for me, you're just here for me
Sister Sara
It's your penalty for eternity
(For eternity)
Did you think that you were saved
(For eternity)
You forget your old identity who you used to be
(For eter... sara)
Sister Sara
So depraved
Moment to moment, hour to hour, for ever and ever
Time after time after time after time after time
(For eternity)
Sister Sara
It's your penalty for eternity
(For eternity)
Did you think that you were saved
(For eternity)
You forget your old identity who you used to be
(For eter... sara)
Sister Sara
So depraved
The song "Sister Sara" by Alice Cooper is about a nun who lost her soul and became involved in immoral activities. The lyrics describe how she got caught with a bishop, an abbot, and even Cardinal Sin, who tried to feed her habit. Despite her actions, the singer claims that even a whore or pimp would be better off than her because she is now "so depraved."
The chorus of the song is a warning that the nun's actions have consequences, and she will suffer for eternity. The singer portrays himself as the one who will bring her down and feed off her energy to keep himself alive. The final lines of the song emphasize the eternal nature of her punishment and her helplessness in the face of it.
The singer seems to be a demonic figure who is punishing the nun for her sins. The song can be seen as a critique of religious institutions and their treatment of women, as the nun's behavior is the result of a system that limits her choices and oppresses her. The song presents a bleak picture of the Catholic Church and its representatives, as they are portrayed as powerless against the demonic forces that come for Sister Sara.

Interesting. I like it! I am surprised someone covered that lesser known song of Cooper’s. I will have to check out more of Valery’s work.
