Originating in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1964, "Alice Cooper" was originally a band with roots extending back to a band called the Earwigs, consisting of Furnier on lead vocals and harmonica, Glen Buxton on lead guitar, and Dennis Dunaway on bass guitar and backing vocals. By 1966, Michael Bruce on rhythm guitar joined the three and Neal Smith was added on drums in 1967. The five named the band "Alice Cooper", and Furnier eventually adopted it as his stage pseudonym. They released their 1969 debut studio album with limited chart success. Breaking out with the 1970 single "I'm Eighteen" and the third studio album Love It to Death, the band reached their commercial peak in 1973 with their sixth studio album, Billion Dollar Babies. After the band broke up, Furnier legally changed his name to Alice Cooper and began a solo career in 1975 with the concept album Welcome to My Nightmare. Over his career, Cooper has sold well over 50 million records.
Cooper has experimented with a number of musical styles, mainly hard rock, glam rock, heavy metal, and glam metal, but also new wave (1980–1983), art rock on DaDa (1983), and industrial rock on Brutal Planet (2000) and Dragontown (2001). He helped to shape the sound and look of heavy metal, and has been described as the artist who "first introduced horror imagery to rock 'n' roll, and whose stagecraft and showmanship have permanently transformed the genre". He is also known for his wit offstage, with The Rolling Stone Album Guide calling him the world's most "beloved heavy metal entertainer". Away from music, Cooper is a film actor, a golfing celebrity, a restaurateur, and, since 2004, a radio disc jockey (DJ) with his classic rock show Nights with Alice Cooper.

Trick Bag
Alice Cooper Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
In a lover's knot
I'm in the mood for my leather boots
With the leopard spots
Take you down to my side of town
Where I learned to love
Strap you down, honey
You dial my number
So let me take the lead
I'm the man, understand
With the smooth slight of hand
And all the magic you need
T-t-t-t-t trick bag, sit back and just enjoy the show
Burn you with desire
Trick bag, come on and let your body go
Gonna lay it on thick
So the memory'll stick
Chew me up with your perfect mouth
Don't you spit me out
Teach you good, Little Miss Hollywood
What it's all about
You call me up baby, in the middle of the night
You say you're sweating red
And you're dripping on the bed
T-tripping in the moonlight
T-t-t-t-t trick bag, sit back and just enjoy the show
Burn you with desire
Trick bag, come on and let your body go
Gonna lay it on thick
So the memory'll stick
The lyrics of Alice Cooper's song Trick Bag suggest a scene of bondage and submission between the singer and their partner. The singer starts with the line "Tie you up baby, really tight, in a lover's knot", which sets the tone for the rest of the song. The singer is in the mood for their leather boots with leopard spots, which adds to the sexual intensity of the situation. The singer then talks about taking their partner to their side of town, where they learned how to love. They want to strap their partner down and pet them nice with their velvet glove. The lyrics continue on to describe the singer's passion, with lines like "Burn you with desire" and "Gonna lay it on thick so the memory'll stick."
The chorus of the song, "T-t-t-t-t trick bag, sit back and just enjoy the show," further emphasizes the singer's desire for control and their partner's submission. The singer is confident in their abilities, claiming to be "the man, understand, with the smooth slight of hand and all the magic you need." The song ends with the partner calling the singer in the middle of the night, claiming to be "tripping in the moonlight."
Overall, Trick Bag explores themes of BDSM, power dynamics, and the singer's desire for control. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a sexual encounter between two consenting adults, where one partner submits to the other's desires.

Interesting. I like it! I am surprised someone covered that lesser known song of Cooper’s. I will have to check out more of Valery’s work.
