The lyrics to Alicia Villarreal's song "Ni Por Interesada" tell the story of a woman who has had enough of a bad relationship. She explains that if she doesn't speak up, she will "burst," so she decides to shout to the night, the moon, and the wind that she has removed this person from her life and has no regrets. The woman emphasizes that she sent the person "to hell" with everything they promised her, out of frustration of being denied love, money, jewelry, or anything.
The chorus reinforces the sentiment that regardless of the material things the person did not provide her with, she would not stay with them solely out of self-interest. She asserts her independence and shows that she is unwilling to toil in a relationship where she does not feel valued, saying that this person was only a bad experience in her life.
In summary, "Ni Por Interesada" is a song about a woman who chooses to speak up and assert her worth, acknowledging that she cannot be bought with material things and that she deserves more than just superficial love.
