All bones that were shown in papers back in the early 1930s and around have magically disappeared from the Smithsonian. Kind of hard for a postal service to mistaken that place upon transport. What a coincidence. The fact that you can't even perform a professional non-damaging excavation of places like stone henge. The mounds in Wisconsin that I have been to have a couple of displaced earth sections where they say two bodies are buried. This was long before coffins. I' waa and am today 6'5" when I layed alongside it. Huge lengthways. Been 6'5" since the end of Middle school so from when I was that age seeing this it has always interested me because the lady who walked us through said they didn't know for sure. You can tell by the giants in the burial mounds are from the same culture as the great pyramid builders. For several reasons. By the way they built them, the shape of the roof in the tomb, and by the extra people in the tombs with them. The great pyramid was just a more elaborate version of the burial mounds.

The average Israelite was between 155cm to 165cm (5'0 to 5'3). Someone standing 188cm to 192cm (6'2 to 6'3) and muscular such as an African slave held by Persia would have been imposing. Indeed that's exactly how Goliath is described in the text. Perhaps more importantly the story isn't presented as historical fact, it's a parable about overcoming odds through courage, intellect and determination.

Ok so all the bones miraculously disappear? Maybe it was the current experts in archeology realizing that they aren't experts, and instead of losong their jobs and their education becoming worthless, they decided to cover it up. I once watched a video about a unit of soldiers in the one of the mountains in the middle east(possibly Afghanistan) who encountered a cave filed with human bones and a giant red haired humanoid who proceeded to impale and kill two soldiers with a spear. After, the rest of the unit killed the creature, the government took the body and thats were the story ends. The soldier who killed the giant was awarded something, like a purple heart or something.
