Let me in on the secret that you will keep
Your eyes are wise
Your eyes are new eyes
Hello eloise
Whisper the places that you have been
Tell me, was the sky blue
Were the stars bright
Champion girl
Who's best in the world at
Stargazing, magic carpets
Hello eloise
Hello eloise
Your eyes are wide
Your eyes are new eyes
Champion girl
Who's best in the world at
Stargazing, magic carpets
Stargazing, magic carpets
Hello eloise
Hello eloise
In Alisha’s song Stargazing, the singer addresses another person named Eloise, asking for her to share a secret with her. Alisha acknowledges Eloise’s wise and observant eyes and asks her to share the experiences of places she's been to. Then, Alisha speaks of Eloise's skills at stargazing and flying carpets, describing her as a “champion girl” who is the best in the world at it. The repetition of “Hello Eloise” at the beginning and end of the song could be interpreted as a message for the listener to be aware of people around them who may possess hidden talents or unique experiences.
The lyrics of the song seem to offer a nostalgic view of childhood innocence and wonder. The image of the blue sky, stars, and sunshine over the daisies could evoke a sense of wonder and an appreciation for the beauty of nature. The mention of magic carpets further suggests a dreamlike state of being. Eloise's stargazing and magic carpet abilities could represent a childlike imagination and the ability to find joy in simple things. Overall, the song seems to be a celebration of youthful innocence and imagination.
