This Alison didn't fall down anything; she jumped head first down the rabbit hole and landed straight on the decks. Armed with turntables, a killer vibe and an open mind, Alison turns countless dance floors across Australia into your favourite kind of Wonderland: more beats, less croquet.
Beginning with a background in indie and classical, Wonderland's best card is her eclecticism. Throughout her youth she toured Europe as a principal cellist for the Sydney Youth Orchestra and later played bass in a successful local indie band.
After inking a global deal with EMI, Wonderland released her debut compilation record - "Welcome To Wonderland" mid 2012, while her much anticipated first original's album is due out very soon! If the success of her remixes is anything to go by the record is set to be a game changer.
Wonderland has performed in LA at the official Grammy's Afterparty, all throughout Ibiza on top of MOS and the Brit Awards Afterparty in London. In Australia she has torn up main stages at Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Southbound Festival, Stereosonic, Field Day, Parklife (nationally), Good Vibrations Festival, Harbourlife, Sydney Fashion Week, Future Music Festival, Coaster Festival, Secret Garden Festival and more, not to mention her sellout headline national tours.
The end of 2012 saw Wonderland taking the highly prestigious summer festival time slots. Playing main stage at Falls Festival in a headline slot after Hot Chip to a capacity crowd, Supporting PNAU Live at Wonderland Festival in Perth & again destroying the headline time slot after SBTRKT to a heaving tent at Southbound Festival this all within 1 WEEK!
Wonderland is the party, rumour has it she never sleeps and is reasonably good friends with Oprah.

I didn't know I needed someone who could quieten my mind
You walked in, I wanted to jump you
I'd fallen but I tried to keep cool
It's cliché but I got to tell you
'Cause I just wanna make a grown man cry (oh-oh)
I just wanna make a grown man cry (oh-oh)
I just wanna fuck you all the time (oh-oh)
I just wanna make a grown man cry
I felt awake because you started to remind me
It's no mistake that we both like space and David Attenborough
And lemonade and anime
You walked in, I wanted to jump you
I'd fallen but I tried to keep cool
It's cliché but I got to tell you
'Cause I just wanna make a grown man cry (oh-oh)
I just wanna make a grown man cry (oh-oh)
I just wanna let you know you're mine (oh-oh)
I just wanna fuck you all the time (oh-oh)
I just wanna make a grown man cry
I'm from LA
Where we smoke weed and get the money (yeah)
I can't be played, bitch
Ain't got no time to waste
I've heard it all before
And I've had enough
Oh, you mad as fuck (psh)
I be calling, she ignoring
She be calling, I be honest
Got me hot 'cause she acting like
She don't fuck with me no more
Back and forth with all this talking
Damn that shit be so annoying
Why can't we just do the things that we do when we all alone?
Out in public acting stubborn
Don't be frontin' girl you love me
Every time she hit the crib
She fucking me on the low, low
Baby why you messing with my mind?
'Cause I just wanna make a grown man cry, yeah (oh-oh)
Damn, I just wanna make a grown man cry, yeah
I just wanna let you know you're mine
Why you gotta be like that? (Oh-oh)
I just wanna fuck you all the time, baby I'm right here
I just wanna make a grown man cry
Alison Wonderland's "Cry" is a song about falling in love unexpectedly and the intense desire and passion that comes along with it. The lyrics depict the singer as a "ghost" who couldn't leave behind her past, but all that changes when she meets someone who quiets her mind. The playful lyrics express the singer's desire to make her lover cry, not in a sad or painful way but rather with pleasure, showing that she's strong enough to make him feel vulnerable and powerful all at once.
The first verse of the song describes how the singer feels about her newfound love interest. She confesses that she wanted to jump him when he walked into the room, even though she was trying to play it cool. The lyrics don't shy away from being cliché, but they earnestly express the singer's desire to make a grown man cry. In the second verse, the lyrics reveal more about the couple's shared interests, such as their love of space, David Attenborough documentaries, lemonade, and anime. These details add depth to the portrayal of their relationship and show how they connect on a personal level.
Overall, "Cry" is a fun and playful love song that captures the excitement and passion of new love. The lyrics express a desire for intimacy and trust and suggest that the singer is looking for someone who can match her intensity and vulnerability.
