Their debut album, All Saints, was released in 1997 with the first single "I Know Where It's At" reaching #4 on the UK charts. The next single, "Never Ever", launched All Saints as stars, selling over two million copies in the United Kingdom also. They later went on to release their second full length studio album, Saints & Sinners in 2000.
The band scored a total of five #1 singles. They split acrimoniously in 2001 after much speculation and rumour. Nicole and Natalie went on to form the duo Appleton, whilst Melanie and Shaznay have also gone on to enjoy (moderate) solo success.
On January 24, 2006 it was announced that the band had reformed. All Saints had signed a deal with Parlophone Records and their comeback single for the label, 'Rock Steady' was a considerable commercial success, charting at number 2. However, 'Studio 1', their third album peaked at a disappointing number 40 in the UK chart.
A further single - 'Chick Fit' - was released via download only, and the group left Parlophone shortly after in 2009.
In November 2013, it was announced that the group would be reforming to support the Backstreet Boys for five dates across the UK and Ireland in 2014.
"We are really looking forward to performing together as special guests of the Backstreet Boys," the group said in a statement.
All Saints will released their fourth studio album entitled Red Flag on 8 April 2016. The lead single from the album, "One Strike", was released on 26 February 2016.

Ain't showin me nothing (work that body, work that body)
Gotta loosen the tie, don't be shy
We can do this
I know this ain't a place you've been before
(excuse me, nice hat!)
Gotta take it with ease, be free,
Cos I'm tellin you something (something)
Something that's holding you back
So I'm telling you baby (baby)
Saints don't go for that!
Dont be uptight it's alright
Its an all saints party!
Let it all out, let it all out
Keep us rocking
Gonna get get down
Move your body down
Gonna get, gonna get, gonna get down!
Gonna get get down
Move your body round
Gonna get, gonna get, gonna get down!
A ha a ha hmmm, gotta get down
Beats, bass man, key to this sound
This is where it's at, what you think about that
All saints in the studio, shaz, mel, nic and nat
I'm checkin you out
Shoud your baggy jeans, let it all hang out
If you wanna know how you canget with me
Take an all saint tip from a man k gee
A ha a ha hmmm hmmm
Cos I'm tellin you something (something)
Something that's holding you back
So I'm telling you baby (baby)
Saints don't go for that!
I know this ain't a place you've been before
(excuse me, nice hat!)
Gotta take it with ease, be free,
Let your mind explore
Cos I'm tellin you something (something)
Something that's holding you back
So I'm telling you baby (baby)
Saints don't go for that!
Gonna get get down
Move your body down
Gonna get, gonna get, gonna get down!
Gonna get get down
Move your body round
Gonna get, gonna get, gonna get down!
The lyrics to All Saints' song "Get Down" speak to a desire to let loose and have fun. The singer urges the listener to loosen up and move their body despite any reservations they may have. There is a sense of encouragement in the lyrics, with phrases like "we can do this" and "let it all out." The chorus repeats the phrase "gonna get down" followed by an urging to move the body. The bridge offers a glimpse into the creation of the song, with a reference to the four members of All Saints being in the studio ("shaz, mel, nic and nat") and a playful mention of a man named K Gee offering tips on how to get with the singer.
Overall, the song feels like a call to action, an invitation to let go of inhibitions and dance. It's a fun, upbeat tune that encourages listeners to be present in their bodies and enjoy the moment.
