Their debut album, All Saints, was released in 1997 with the first single "I Know Where It's At" reaching #4 on the UK charts. The next single, "Never Ever", launched All Saints as stars, selling over two million copies in the United Kingdom also. They later went on to release their second full length studio album, Saints & Sinners in 2000.
The band scored a total of five #1 singles. They split acrimoniously in 2001 after much speculation and rumour. Nicole and Natalie went on to form the duo Appleton, whilst Melanie and Shaznay have also gone on to enjoy (moderate) solo success.
On January 24, 2006 it was announced that the band had reformed. All Saints had signed a deal with Parlophone Records and their comeback single for the label, 'Rock Steady' was a considerable commercial success, charting at number 2. However, 'Studio 1', their third album peaked at a disappointing number 40 in the UK chart.
A further single - 'Chick Fit' - was released via download only, and the group left Parlophone shortly after in 2009.
In November 2013, it was announced that the group would be reforming to support the Backstreet Boys for five dates across the UK and Ireland in 2014.
"We are really looking forward to performing together as special guests of the Backstreet Boys," the group said in a statement.
All Saints will released their fourth studio album entitled Red Flag on 8 April 2016. The lead single from the album, "One Strike", was released on 26 February 2016.

Clap your hands if I say you jump
Clap your hands if I say you what
Clap your hands if I say you jump
Clap your hands if I say you what
Clap your hands if I say you jump
Clap your hands if I say you what
Come on
I know I know I have far to go
Then I have to much to learn
Now it's down to fame
But I just can't wait (I just can't wait)
To find what I've been searching for
I tried to ask my mother
I tried to ask my father
I tried to ask my lover
I couldn't ask no other
No need to look upon others
It's for me to discover
I'm not looking any further
I think I've found the answer
Drive the love around
Searchin for the sound
When I realised
It was all inside
Showin me the way
To my destiny
Now I realise
It comes from inside
Just thinkin about
Lessons in life
How they're sometimes hard to learn
Mistake after mistake
Thought it was too late
So I turned my world around
I tried to ask my mother
I tried to ask my father
I tried to ask my lover
I couldn't ask no other
No need to look upon others
It's for me to discover
I'm not looking any further
I think I've found the answer
Drive the love around
Searchin for the sound
When I realised
It was all inside
Showin me the way
To my destiny
Now I realise
It comes from inside
Come inside
Do you wanna come inside?
Come inside
Do you wanna come inside?
Time to find
What's inside
Time to turn it out
What is everybody talkin about
Sometimes situations seem right
And I know I'm gonna be a-a-alright
Drive the love around
Searchin for the sound
When I realised
It was all inside
Showin me the way
To my destiny
Now I realise
It comes from inside
Drive the love around
Searchin for the sound
When I realised
It was all inside
Showin me the way
To my destiny
Now I realise
It comes from inside
Clap your hands if I say you what
Clap your hands if I say you jump
Clap your hands if I say you what
Come on
Come on
Clap your hands if I say you what
Clap your hands if I say you jump
Clap your hands if I say you what
Come on
Come on
Clap your hands if I say you what
Clap your hands if I say you jump
Clap your hands if I say you what
Come on
Come on
All around
For a sound
Showin me the way
To my destiny
Now I realise
It comes from inside
The song "Inside" by All Saints talks about the journey of self-discovery and finding one's destiny. The lyrics "I know I have far to go, then I have too much to learn, now it's down to fame, but I just can't wait, to find what I've been searching for" shows the singer's eagerness to learn and to reach their goals. The line "I tried to ask my mother, I tried to ask my father, I tried to ask my lover, I couldn't ask no other, no need to look upon others, it's for me to discover, I'm not looking any further, I think I've found the answer" indicates that the person has looked for answers from everyone else, but they eventually realize that the answers were always inside them.
The lyrics "Drive the love around, searching for the sound, when I realized it was all inside" talks about how the person went through a journey of self-discovery searching for something they thought could make them happy, but they eventually found that happiness comes from within. The repetition of "Clap your hands" in the chorus signifies a celebration of their inner happiness and self-discovery.
Overall, the song encourages listeners to look within themselves to find their purpose and happiness rather than seeking validation from others.

Thanks for posting! Definitely one of my favorite All Saints song. Wish their last album had been more successful so that there would have been demand for another album.

This could have made the album over "If you wanna party"! I found that songs does not fit the rest of the album, but "Inside" fits perfectly!
