Chiron is track number five on their newest album (as of 2008) titled Overcome, by label Razor & Tie and by producer Jason Suecof. Chiron was the first single from the album and the first video, simply featuring the band performing in a completely white background. Like in most of their songs, vocalist Phillip Labonte screams deeply in the verses and sings melodically in the chorus. However, unlike most of their songs, guitarists Oli Herbert an Mike Martin take a break from their electric guitars and play acoustic in the bridge. Drummer Jason Costa is newer and has only been featured in this album. He not only plays holding his sticks traditionally, but also plays very fast and very hard.

All That Remains Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
And closest ties been bound so long
I've called upon them
They remind me where I'm from
With deep conviction
I am connected cross the miles
With out them nothing worth relying on
I've needed anything stronger
We can't be wrong when we have ties that bind us
If I rely and I know the strength
In those who taught me of the
Power in the ties that bind
When I turn inward
And look for strength within my self
And demonstrations of courage
Are the result
If inspiration is wholly shared
Then more is the gain
Then I will follow
The selfless actions displayed
We are made powerful
by the connections we have with others, and this is the message conveyed in All That Remains' song Chiron. The lyrics speak to the importance of strong ties and connections with others, and how they can provide strength and inspiration when it's needed most. The opening lines suggest that the bonds we have with others are often the strongest and most reliable things we have. The singer has turned to these connections in the past, and they remind him of where he's come from and what he's capable of achieving.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the power of these ties, and the importance of relying on them when we feel weak or uncertain. The singer has found strength in the past by turning to those who have taught him the value of these connections, and he believes that they are key to his success and well-being. The final verse suggests that this connection is a two-way street, and that by being selfless and sharing inspiration with others, we can all become more powerful and capable of achieving great things.
Overall, the lyrics of Chiron encourage us to recognize the importance of the connections we have with others, and to rely on them when we need support and strength. The song suggests that these ties are what make us truly powerful and capable of achieving our goals, and that by sharing inspiration and working together, we can all become stronger and more successful.

Have not the strongest
And closest ties been bound so long
I've called upon them

CHORUS: It's been so long since I could say
I've needed anything stronger
We can't be wrong when we have ties that bind us
If I rely and I know the strength
In those who taught me of the
