The band's next, The Fall of Ideals was released on July 11, 2006 to acclaim from all angles, including Kerrang! and Metal Hammer. The first video from the album was This Calling, which was featured on the soundtracks of both Masters of Horror II and Saw III. It was followed by The Air That I Breathe. Additionally, their song Six was featured on the Guitar Hero 2 game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.
On January 11, 2007, the band announced their new drummer, Jason Costa, previously of Diecast. 2007 also has seen the band's first US headlining tour, which also featured Misery Signals, The Human Abstract, Light This City, and Cellador. All That Remains also made a special appearance at the New Jersey show of Sounds of the Underground in 2007.
A third video from "The Fall of Ideals" for the song Not Alone was released in mid-2007. Also, the band's DVD, entitled "All That Remains Live", was released in November of 2007. Currently, the band is co-headlining on tour with trivium.
The bands fourth effort, Overcome, is a combination of hardcore screaming and clean singing, best example being a song for the hopeless. The cd is a departure from their previous efforts, but it can still be appreciated in many ways.
In addition, they have released three of their songs: This Calling, Chiron, and Two weeks, as a welcome addition to any rock band players library.
On October 17, 2018, guitarist Oli Herbert died from drowning from a prescription overdose. He was 44 years old.

For We Are Many
All That Remains Lyrics

The fire it rages
It burns clear in the night
Illuminates the path before us
Now true our arrows strike
Defy, we heed the call
Defy, for we are many
Rising against you
Defy, we heed the call
Defy, strengthen us all
Defy, for we are many
Rising to crush you
Now the tide is turning
Our might striking fear
Our passion foretells our triumph
Smite those who stand against us
Defy, we heed the call
Defy, strengthen us all
Defy, for we are many
Rising against you
Defy, we heed the call
Defy, strengthen us all
Defy, for we are many
Rising against you
We are your fast approaching doom
Now tremble
Let the tyrants fall
Let the sons raise the call
Let the tyrants fall
We are your fast approaching doom
The fire it rages
It burns clear in the night
Illuminates the path before us
Now true our arrows strike
Defy, we heed the call
Defy, strengthen us all
Defy, for we are many
Rising against you
Defy, we heed the call
Defy, strengthen us all
Defy, for we are many
Rising against you
The song "For We Are Many" by the American metal band All That Remains is a call for rebellion and defiance against tyranny. The lyrics are an attempt to inspire people to rise up and fight against oppression. The fire that rages and burns clear in the night represents the passion and intensity of those who stand up to power. It illuminates the path before them, allowing them to see the way forward.
The call to "defy" is repeated throughout the song, as a way of emphasizing the need to resist those who would seek to control or manipulate. This defiance is not merely symbolic, but is intended to "strengthen us all" and help us to "rise against" those who oppose us. The idea is that together, we are stronger than any individual or group that seeks to oppress us.
The chorus, "for we are many," is a rallying cry for unity and solidarity. It suggests that we are not alone in our struggle, and that there are many others who share our goals and aspirations. The song ends with a direct challenge to those in power, warning them that they should "tremble" in the face of our collective strength.
Overall, the lyrics of "For We Are Many" are a powerful call to action, urging listeners to stand up for themselves and fight for their rights. It is a message of hope and empowerment, reminding us that we can make a difference if we work together.
