The band's next, The Fall of Ideals was released on July 11, 2006 to acclaim from all angles, including Kerrang! and Metal Hammer. The first video from the album was This Calling, which was featured on the soundtracks of both Masters of Horror II and Saw III. It was followed by The Air That I Breathe. Additionally, their song Six was featured on the Guitar Hero 2 game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.
On January 11, 2007, the band announced their new drummer, Jason Costa, previously of Diecast. 2007 also has seen the band's first US headlining tour, which also featured Misery Signals, The Human Abstract, Light This City, and Cellador. All That Remains also made a special appearance at the New Jersey show of Sounds of the Underground in 2007.
A third video from "The Fall of Ideals" for the song Not Alone was released in mid-2007. Also, the band's DVD, entitled "All That Remains Live", was released in November of 2007. Currently, the band is co-headlining on tour with trivium.
The bands fourth effort, Overcome, is a combination of hardcore screaming and clean singing, best example being a song for the hopeless. The cd is a departure from their previous efforts, but it can still be appreciated in many ways.
In addition, they have released three of their songs: This Calling, Chiron, and Two weeks, as a welcome addition to any rock band players library.
On October 17, 2018, guitarist Oli Herbert died from drowning from a prescription overdose. He was 44 years old.

Just Moments in Time
All That Remains Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
No one will answer my prayers
And in the black of night
I call and no one's there
A lack of vision
A lack of sight
One god destroys me
Another brings me to life
Indebted before we leave the womb
A lifetime spent to avoid our doom
A struggle so basic
We live our lives in fear
It still means nothing
Because nothing is real
We are all just moments in time
We come from nothing and we're nothing when we die
We are all just an instant in time
We come from nothing and we're nothing when we die
Vastness confounds us every day
Arrogance these silly games we play
Why should we believe we are eternal?
Why should we believe?
So clever
But primal urges block our way
Designed by time
There could be no other way
Take solace in ignorance
Return to nothing
And in nothing remain
We are all just moments in time
We come from nothing and we're nothing when we die
We are all just an instant in time
We come from nothing and we're nothing when we die
Eternity is so massive
We cannot comprehend
So take every last bit
And on nothing depend
We are moments in time
We come from nothing
We are moments in time
We are nothing
No man can comprehend
We are all just moments in time
We come fro nothing and we're nothing when we die
We are all just an instant in time
We come from nothing and we're nothing when we die
No man can comprehend we are nothing
The song "Just Moments in Time" by All That Remains is a powerful commentary on the nature of human existence and the futility of our efforts to escape our ultimate fate. The lyrics describe a sense of alienation and hopelessness, as the singer realizes that there is no reason to repent and no one will answer their prayers. In the black of night, they call out, but no one is there to comfort them. The lack of vision and sight seems to speak to a deeper sense of existential confusion and disorientation, as if the singer is struggling to make sense of their place in the world.
Despite this sense of confusion and despair, the singer also finds moments of clarity and insight. They recognize that we are all indebted before we leave the womb, and spend a lifetime trying to avoid our doom. But in the end, it all means nothing, because nothing is real. This seems to suggest that the struggle for survival and success in life is ultimately futile, as we are all destined to return to nothingness.
The repeated refrain that we are all just moments in time, and that we come from nothing and are nothing when we die, is a haunting reminder of our mortality. The vastness of eternity is overwhelming, and it is impossible for us to comprehend our place in the universe. The suggestion that we should take solace in ignorance and return to nothing echoes a common theme in existentialist philosophy, which urges us to accept the absurdity of our existence and find meaning in the present moment.
