The band's next, The Fall of Ideals was released on July 11, 2006 to acclaim from all angles, including Kerrang! and Metal Hammer. The first video from the album was This Calling, which was featured on the soundtracks of both Masters of Horror II and Saw III. It was followed by The Air That I Breathe. Additionally, their song Six was featured on the Guitar Hero 2 game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.
On January 11, 2007, the band announced their new drummer, Jason Costa, previously of Diecast. 2007 also has seen the band's first US headlining tour, which also featured Misery Signals, The Human Abstract, Light This City, and Cellador. All That Remains also made a special appearance at the New Jersey show of Sounds of the Underground in 2007.
A third video from "The Fall of Ideals" for the song Not Alone was released in mid-2007. Also, the band's DVD, entitled "All That Remains Live", was released in November of 2007. Currently, the band is co-headlining on tour with trivium.
The bands fourth effort, Overcome, is a combination of hardcore screaming and clean singing, best example being a song for the hopeless. The cd is a departure from their previous efforts, but it can still be appreciated in many ways.
In addition, they have released three of their songs: This Calling, Chiron, and Two weeks, as a welcome addition to any rock band players library.
On October 17, 2018, guitarist Oli Herbert died from drowning from a prescription overdose. He was 44 years old.

Whispers
All That Remains Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
But the sun that set cause only pain
Violence in words like slashes wound deeply
Love is not when you feel only pain
Her touch poison flows through my veins
No more I denounce all your childish games
Whispers (I hear you)
Poison (flows in me)
Lost inside of you, I'm not free of you
Break my bonds again
Love lost arrogant whore paint strife on this canvas
Failure I am a fool I should have seen
Whispers poison break my bonds again
Love lost failure I should have seen
[Chorus]
It may seem at last day passing mean nothing
But the sun that set cause only pain
Violence in words like slashes wound deeply
Love is not when you feel only pain
No more regrets
Face my fear alone
The song "Whispers" by All That Remains is a powerful and emotional piece about the pain of love and the struggle to break free from a toxic relationship. The lyrics describe the experience of being trapped in a relationship with someone who is harmful and manipulative, and the fight to break free from the pain they cause. The imagery used in the song is strong and evocative, with references to poison flowing through the veins, slashes that wound deeply, and the feeling of being lost and trapped.
The opening lines of the song describe the difficulty of letting go of a toxic relationship, even when it seems like every day is a struggle. The reference to the sun setting and causing pain is a powerful metaphor for the emotional pain that can come with a difficult breakup. The next lines describe the way that words can be used as weapons to cause deep wounds, and the realization that true love should not come with pain.
The middle section of the song describes the feeling of being trapped in a toxic relationship, with references to poison flowing through the veins and being lost inside of the other person. The chorus reinforces the idea that the relationship is harmful and needs to be broken, with the repetition of the words "whispers" and "poison" emphasizing the toxicity of the situation.
The song ends on a note of resolve and determination, with the singer declaring that they will no longer have any regrets and will face their fear alone. The final lines suggest that the struggle may not be over, but that the singer has found the strength to continue fighting for their own freedom and happiness.
