Wake Up Call
Allen-Lande Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The dark world won't be visible for you no more
The demons won't show their faces
The time has come when you can shut reality out
The demons will show their creations
[Bridge:]
Only you can make it right
Don't look away, your life is right here
[Chorus:]
You have been walking through life
With your eyes closed
You need to stop to fall
This is your wake up call
Escaping from yourself
Will not work no more
You need to see it all
This is your wake up call
Wake up!
Wake up!
There are no more places where you can hide
The evil spirits will find you, oh
[Bridge]
[Chorus]
[Solo]
[Bridge]
Your life is right here
[Chorus]
Oh you need to wake up!
Wake up! [x5]
This is your wake up call
The song "Wake Up Call" by Allen-Lande is a powerful plea to confront reality and face the consequences of one's actions. The dark world represented by demons and evil spirits can no longer be ignored, and the time has come for the singer to open their eyes and take control of their life. The lyrics suggest that this awakening is necessary for personal growth and self-realization. The chorus emphasizes the importance of this moment, urging the listener to stop hiding from reality and take responsibility for their life. The guitar solo breaks up the intensity of the song and provides a moment of reflection before the bridge resurfaces with the message that the singer's life is right here, and only they can make it right.
The imagery in this song is powerful and suggestive. The demons and evil spirits represent the personal demons that one must confront. The darkness is a metaphor for ignorance or avoidance of reality, and the call to "wake up" is a universal one, speaking to anyone who is drifting through life without truly engaging with it. The lyrics suggest that the singer has been walking blindly through life, ignoring the consequences of their actions, but this wake-up call is their chance to change.
