It takes a certain place, a certain time
I know not everybody got that
That shine, that shine, that shine
Like you
A trick of the light
Maybe you're a diamond in the dark
I could wear you in silver around
It's true, it's true
I'm thrown in, I'm open
The tone hits, ooh
The way you move, it rings a bell
The way you stare, it casts a spell
As if you knew me well
Must have been a reason for this feeling 'cause it rings a bell
Could swear that we've been here before
'Cause in your arms I feel so sure
As if you knew me well
Must have been a reason for this feeling 'cause it rings a bell
One revolving door
I'm standing where I've never been before
And now all I can think is that I
Want more, want more, want more of you
A distant rebel yell
I'm thrown in, I'm open
The tone hits, ooh
The way you move, it rings a bell
The way you stare, it casts a spell
As if you knew me well
Must have been a reason for this feeling 'cause it rings a bell
Could swear that we've been here before
'Cause in your arms I feel so sure
As if you knew me well
Must have been a reason for this feeling 'cause it rings a bell
Must have been a reason for this feeling 'cause it rings a bell
Thrown in, open
Tone hits, ooh
The way you move, it rings a bell
The way you stare, it casts a spell
As if you knew me well
Must have been a reason for this feeling 'cause it rings a bell
Could swear that we've been here before
'Cause in your arms I feel so sure
As if you knew me well
Must have been a reason for this feeling 'cause it rings a bell
"Allie X" is a singer and songwriter known for her introspective and intricate lyrics. Her song "Rings A Bell" is no exception, with the song expressing an intense connection to someone who seems familiar even though they just met. The song talks about how even though it's hard to find someone who has that certain shine, that certain spark, the singer has found someone who has it, and it's a feeling that "rings a bell". The song explores the thrill and excitement of being with someone new who feels like an old friend.
The opening lines of the song talk about how it's hard to find someone with that certain spark, that certain shine that stands out among everyone else. The singer recognizes how not everybody has that shine, which makes finding it all the more special. The song's chorus emphasizes the feeling of familiarity with the person, like they have been here before, and how their presence in the singer's life feels like it has a purpose. The song's pre-chorus highlights how the way the person moves and stares casts a spell on the singer and that the singer wants more of them.
The overall tone of the song is a combination of excitement, wonder, and awe. The way Allie X sings the song with her unique vocal style adds an additional layer of intensity to the song. She is trying to convey how the possibility of a connection is exciting and she's willing to explore this connection with an open heart.

@Dixin Uranus she being underrated doesn't make her unsuccessful. The fact that she has a strong fan base and is able to do her art the way she envisions it without fitting it into the mainstream measures doesn't mean she's having the recognition she deserves, that's what the person who made the comment meant, I believe. It's cool for us, who consume such precious and creative artists to have them for our own selves, but for the artist (not saying that's the case for Allie, might not be, hope that's not) having a recognition that could be a lot bigger if they had the support of a label or the money to make the right connections and invest in heavy propaganda, it's just not fair and frustrating.
Ekkie
@merna All this does not affect popularity in any way. And most of the artists don't do any projects at all, just occasional music videos. That does not prevent them from being popular. There is absolutely no connection here.
merna
@Ekkie learn to read. I never said that a short lifespan affected her projects, I said that she drops every project without finishing it. For example: the Story of X was supposed to be a 5-part album cycle and she dropped it after 2 with no explanation and without even finishing the concept. Then came super sunset, which lasted six month and then she dropped that as well and now she's back saying this is the story of x. Since you wanna bring up "most popular artists", "most popular artists" finish each project they start. She doesn't. She drops them halfway through
